From a design standpoint, it's a great looking jersey

Were you born without eyes or just without a sense of style?

I fail to see anything wrong with it. I own the Authentic version and I love it. The logos are nicely rendered, the watery striping is creative and the colours look good together... unlike a lot of schemes using teal from that era (Diamonbacks and Grizzlys come to mind)

The wavy numbers and nameplate were to much. If they could figure out how to keep the wave pattern without the distorted numbers or nameplate then it would have made for an acceptable alternate. As it was? To gimmicky.

I've always looked at those fishstick jerseys as being bad by comparison.

On their own they really don't look that bad. But when you match them up against the classic Islander look (which is great) they do look pretty bad. Add to it a horrible record it was never going to be accepted.

I even feel the wave pattern stripes are too much (especially on the shoulders).

Maybe it would be better if the hem stripe followed the pattern in the logo?

The Seahawks neon green jersey was sweet! The colour was bold but it was a simple design, that's what made it work. Wish they wore it more that once.

Watching the Marlins game, I really don't think the new unis are that bad on TV.

But as a non-fan, Florida Marlins is a better name than Miami Marlins IMO.
