kevinmets
I was at the game last night at CitiField, and a friend of mine bought a custom jersey. Instead of the 50th anniversary patch we all know on the sleeve, there was a different patch. It was blue with an orange "50", Mr. Met swinging a bat, and at the bottom a gold banner reading 1962-2012. Really nice patch.Has anyone else seen this? Is there photographic evidence of its existence anywhere on the internet?
FunkadelicGroove
My understanding is that this patch appears on replica jerseys.

soxkrazy
The Red Sox replicas also sport a different Fenway 100 patch designed exclusively for the Yawkey Way Store.
cmm
I've seen them at the Citi Field stores. I love the "real" 50th patch, but I have a soft spot for Mr. Met and would love to see him on a jersey.Anyways, here's a pic from Mets Police.http://metspolice.com/2012/04/09/hey-whats-this-other-mets50-patch/
WSU151
That's a great patch. Should have saved it for the 60th anniversary. Smart is believing half of what you hear. Genius is knowing which half.
sportstar1212
That patch is actually pretty sweet. I almost like it better than the game jersey patch.
oddball
Eww! That's a bad patch! The way that Mr. Met is incorporated within the patch is bad. Actually, that's just a bad pose of Mr. Met, They needed to do something more dynamic with him and weave him into the design. I give that a C grade. Gothamite
Although I would have preferred the running version, that's a classic Mr. Met pose. Better than the actual jersey patch. The Green Bay Packers Uniform Database! Now in a handy blog.
