uuh70
There a several teams I feel as though could use an update and in this series I will "fix" those teams. First up is the Houston Astros. I grew up watching the Astros in the final years of the Astrodome wearing the navy and gold shooting star uniforms so that will always be my favorite but I know the direction they're going in next year so I decided to use the "shooting star" script in this concept. As a tribute to the 90's colors, I used gold as an outline on the home script and on all lettering on the orange alternate. The road and alternate navy jersey don't have the gold outline but instead a white one. So without further adieu, I present you the Houston Astros The orange alternate was inspired but this dugout jacket worn circa 1972 That jacket will also be the current dugout jacket albeit in a modern form much like the New York Mets did this year with their "NY" jacket. As always c+c greatly appreciatedUp next the Cincinnati Reds
cohenj21
This is a solid start to the series. Just a couple suggestions.-Use the shooting star on the road script as well, gives the set more uniformity.-Use navy text and numbers on the orange alt, it has alot of potential and I like the idea of an orange alt for the Astros but you don't have enough contrast right now.Other than that, nice job. sportstar1212
The only thing I can think of is to make the script, NOB, and numbers on the orange alt blue. Excellent work, and I can't wait to see more.
bradsbeard
Love this. Maybe try outlining the star in navy instead of grey on the orange alt.
uuh70
Finally have some time to work on this series again. I know I said Reds would be next but instead I present you my Tampa Bay Devil RaysI wanted to get rid of all the Navy and Red used in the MLB and wanted to come up with some different color schemes. Since the Devil Rays originated in the 90's I went with 90's like colors in the light blue and purple. I kept the navy as an accent color and went back to their original scripts and original name. Im using a new template as Im stuck using elements and the layers in the other template don't work as well.As always C+C AppreciatedHome UniformRoad UniformAlternate UniformSock Options
KCScout76
I really like the Houston set!  Kansas City Scouts (CHL) Orr Cup Champions 2010, 2019, 2021     St. Joseph Pony Express (ULL)  2023 Champions   Kansas City Cattle (CL)
uuh70
Up Next The Pittsburgh Pirates...For the Pirates I thought of 2 things in Particular, Roberto Clemente and The "We are Family" teams of the 1970's. To pay tribute to those teams I designed this concept based on those eras. (In addition a 90's script makes a return)First the Home and Road, and as you can see the vests are back! Now I brought back the 70's Mix and Match Uniforms as AlternatesAnd Now get ready for their Sunday "Throwback" (Well the whole set is a throwback but nevertheless)
GriffinM6
The cursive script looks surprisingly good on the vest. I would remove all white from the gold alternate though.
uuh70
Up Next-Philadelphia PhilliesI actually like their current Home and Away but with this series I am trying to get rid of all the red and blue teams and the maroon look seem fairly liked within the forum so I went back to their 70's-1991 Set...Racing Stripes and AllHome RoadAltAlt 2I also created this for a home uniform/possible alt
Buster
YES...THAT is what the Phillies should look like! I was a huge Mike Schmidt fan back in the 80s and have always hated the uniforms that replaced that era's look, even though it is a poorly-done update of the 1950s uniforms. The marooon pinstripes were unique. The only thing you're missing is a light blue alternate. Gray does work better for road uniforms than blue, but the maroon and light blue look incredible together.Astros and Pirates look like they should and the Devil Rays (name should revert back) actually have a look instead of the generic, boring, vague-meaning identity they're using now. The sea creature should be the main feature...forget the sparkles and sun rays.
eliasrappaport
Like the Phillies, but they need a powder blue alt.

Beluga4
The Marlins old logo with the M looks awesome! The Phillies alternate uniforms are the best! I love this series, can't wait for more
uuh70
Washington NationalsPlease note they would still have their red white and blue patriotic uniform in rotation for 4th of July/ Sept
uuh70
Colorado Rockies..Unpopular opinion but I loved the pinstriped on the road for the Rockies so I brought them back and emphasized Purple a little bit more on the scripts. In addition I brought back the knit sleeve ends that was used on the 1993 road uniforms. All caps and jerseys are interchangeable upon starting pitchers request
uuh70
Seattle Mariners...Brought back two caps from the past including the teal crown and the silver brimmed alternate.
uuh70
Kansas City Royals...The Royals are the first in a line of teams who will be "breaking up the monotony in this series. I've returned them to their iconic powder blue away sets and returned the full "Royals" script to the alternate
Critical Thinker
I think you should be more consistent with the colors on the Rockies. Use a lighter shade of purple throughout the uniforms. I also don't like how you put the powder blue and regular blue together on the Royals. Too inconsistent and too overwhelming. It's _____________ and Toledo still sucks.[insert time here]
