Giants Away Jersey 2 Different Shades?

Maybe it is just me, but doesn't Tim Lincecum's jersey and pants look like 2 different shades of grey?? Maybe it is just the lighting, but I first noticed it on my TV. I thought maybe the jersey was a Cool Flo jersey, but I don't see the vents. Anyone else notice this.

Yeah, that's standard for the COOLBASE jerseys. The underarms on the white jerseys are slightly yellow. I don't know how much different the underarms on colored jerseys are, though.

Just a case of different materials.

the worst helmets design to me is the Jacksonville jaguars hamlets from 1995 to 2012 because you can't see the logo vary wall

The CoolBase jerseys darken from sweat more significantly than the doubleknit pants, making them appear two different shades when a player has sweat, as Lincecum did profusely Sunday night.

I definitely dig the Giants alt, but having it paired with the cream pants just seems really off to me. But, you definitely can't justify adding white pants simply for that jersey, so it's going to have to stay I guess. I also wish they'd wear it with the orange billed caps.

And dude, you really gotta shrink that sig. A good start would be eliminating that disgusting LA Dodgers logo at the top :P

I dislike the Giants very much but... 102143902_display_image.jpg?1298342571 Can the Giants first Alt get some love? When ever the Dodgers play them at home, I just cum my pants looking at that orange/cream combo. Sweet lord!

The Giants are one of those teams that knows how to utilize their identity perfectly. I honestly think they're the best looking team in baseball. They even manage to make drop shadows look passable. (Maybe because they do it subtly.)

My "rule" is that if you're wearing a colored jersey that's a different color than your cap, then the brim should match the jersey. So the Giants should wear orange brimmed caps with that jersey.

Other than that, with only a few exceptions, caps should be solid colors. The Atlanta Braves should only have one cap. Same with Oakland A's. Nobody else (unless someone changes in the future to a style that just really begs for a multi-colored cap.)

I think Seattle's teal brimmed cap just looks better regardless of what uniform its matched with. Same with Atlanta's red brim and Baltimore's orange.

Atlanta was one of my exceptions - they should "own" the navy crown / red bill combo. The Seattle teal-brim caps and Balt orange-brim caps do look nice, but I just think that in 99% of cases, it looks more formal and professional to have a single color cap.

Since alt jerseys aren't really "formal" to begin with, I think the rule can be bent if the jersey is a different color than the crown.
