I think that teal is a couple shades TOO bright. Have you tried using the Seahawks neon green?

This is what I was going for with the brighter teal. These hats are very sharp in real life, more so than they look online.

I've seen that hat in real life and I agree... I figured that's what you were going for, it just looks too overpowering on this concept. Maybe it's just my screen.

I wish I could take credit for the avatar, but it was created by a local rock/metal station.

It's official... I am done with all 30. However, I'm gonna keep posting them 1 or 2 a day, so this thread stays alive a little longer.

I had a lot of fun with this, so I may continue and do some former-team redesigns (Expos etc) and/or some crossover designs.

No, the road jersey is not a mistake. It's the town they play in.

I like their current set except for the red hats (always seemed ironic to have the Angels wearing the devil's color). Also switched the halo from silver to the classic yellow.

I love your Angels set. I don't think I'd change a thing. Keep up the good work.

I mean I like the current Angels set but the overwhelming red does seem a bit boring IMO. This does seem like a lateral move, but a good lateral move.

I still think this set of concepts is the best set of concepts (overall) that I've seen on this site.

The Angels set looks really good, except the red jersey. IMO the red numbers on red jersey look is hideous - I would make the numbers white. Also, I would keep the piping consistent (one white stripe on the shoulders and on the neck). Otherwise great job!

First the good. I really like the hat, as that is the hat I grew up seeing the Angels wear.

What I don't like about the design. The home jersey has no blue in it yet you have a blue hat. Either the home needs to be mostly blue or the hat needs to be their red hat. Secondly, I'm not a fan of the away and alt jersey. The away reminds me of the awful days when Disney owned the team and they wore the vests with pinstripes and it was just bad. Also I'm not a fan of the Anaheim script being on any Angels jersey. Again until Disney bought the Angels they had ALWAYS only have the Angels script on their jersey, with the exception of a few alts that had their CA logo. I like the overall direction of returning some navy blue back into the mix but I feel like you could farther develop this concept

With the Anaheim script, I was more trying to express my stance on the "Los Angeles of Anaheim" mess, I never realized their aways traditionally said Angels. That said, I'm not a fan of teams doing that anyway, and if I had the graphic design skills I might have made a matching "California" script (similarly a "Miami" road script for the Marlins).

And as far as the home goes, the blue outline is still there as it was on the classics. I can understand you not liking the sleeveless though, I'm a bigger fan of that look than most.

I like the yellow on the halo on the Angels logo. It is much better than the gray.

I totally agree about the LA of A bs. And when it was first changed I totally wanted the Anaheim back on the roads. And I am also in agreement on the not having the team name on both home and away. I am personally a fan of the team logo on the home and City name on away a la Yankees.

As for the sleeveless I think it can work, maybe try changing the home sleeves to blue to match the road and chance the piping to blue as shownhere

What are you talking about? The Royals wore vests for their whites and grays for a few years but that was 5 years ago. They had a black alternate and that was 5 years ago too. They wear a powder blue alt at home now and a royal blue alt on the road. They have no black on their unis at all. They even wear blue shoes.

While we're still on the subject of the Angels, I did try making a California script and it turned out to be much easier than I thought.

I still prefer Anaheim, but this is still a much-preferable option to LA of A.

Nothing radical here, used a different bird for the hat, and I like them in orange alts better than black (its like them and the Giants are backwards this year).

I mentioned earlier that I liked the red & black color scheme, if for nothing else because no one else has it. Then I thought of a team that would look better in it! (You'll see) ...So here are the Reds in only red & white.

Good Points:

1)I like the black Baltimore script on the roads.

2)I like the black bill on the roads ... although I think it's just a lateral move.

3) I like the orange alt.

Suggestions:

1)I don't like that bird logo. I've lived in Baltimore for the last 16 years and I have never seen anyone wearing a cap with that logo (not that that makes it bad, but just saying).

2)I would at least consider maintaining a black alt for the road. Their black jerseys are pretty sweet and I wouldn't want to scrap them altogether.

3)Too much black on the road IMO. There are too many teams in MLB that let black drown out their jerseys (Marlins for example). They look too close to the White Sox. Maybe make the number on the back orange? Just an idea.

Reds:

Good points:

1) I like the return of that Mr. Red guy.

2) I like the "Vests".

3) I like REDS on the home.

4) Overall smooth identity.

Suggestions:

1)They are, overall, a little boring IMO. But, also IMO, their jerseys have always been kind of boring. So probably not much you can do with that.
