MLS could always demote FCC if the league had a PRO/REL structure. (No, I am not serious about the PRO/REL talk). Honestly, I would be upset with ownership if Austin, Charlotte, or even St. Louis make the MLS Playoffs before FCC does. I give GM Albright and HC Noonan three seasons to turn things around in Cincy. The first hurdle is winning more than 6 matches in a season, a very low bar to hurdle.

FCC can follow the Chivas USA route, e.g., failed expansion club which led to MLS buying and folding the club in 2014.

It was frustrating watching Canada best the US in a critical match. The current US attacking style is barely working, if nonexistent in the final third . Berhalter can say we dominated Canada all that he wants, but the scoreboard result is all that matters. US need to correct the attack tomorrow against Honduras. They can't afford to drop 3 points with matches against Mexico, Panama, and Costa Rica on the horizon in March.

Glad that the USMNT got 3 points last night, but oh boy, what an underwhelming performance. Seems they pressed for the win in the first 20 minutes of the match. They were lucky to score in the first 10 minutes of the second half. They need to get 3 points against Canada on Sunday.

Ashburn should be the lead candidate for a stadium since their HQs are there. I would be shocked if they find space anywhere along on the 95 corridor for a stadium (and also no Metro service).

Bummer to hear that the 'sister city' concept isn't going to work. That would have been an interesting approach. I hope that the Rays find a stadium solution in the Tampa Bay area. However, I wouldn't be surprised if they relocate if things don't work out.
