It's by no means bad, and it ties in with the Yankees affiliation really well. But I miss this guy so much.

Sweet intro videos and songs.
Also, I miss getting the Starstruck catalog with all the minor league baseball hats.

One of you could be Han Dynasty and the other Qin Dynasty.
It's pronounced Handy Nasty.
(At least it is when we order food from the nearby Chinese restaurant with the same name)

1. It's hard to believe that it's been TWELVE years since I lost my numbers.
2. Lots of great former CCSLCers from the past in that old thread.

The name is stupid, but that's the best Brandiose identity in a long time. Those logos are fantastic.

Easily my #1 answer....
But both of these resulted in me shouting, then pacing around my living room.

- The Jon Paxson game-winning three against the Suns in 1993. I was 7 years old and in Disney World, and it ruined my vacation.
- 2009 ALCS. I could've seen my favorite team (Angels) play against my hometown team (Phillies) in a World Series. It would've been great, and I wouldn't have had any friends afterwards.
- Most days as a Detroit Lions fan, but specifically when the Eagles crushed them in the '96 playoffs. Wasn't a fun time at school the next day.
- Eagles Superbowl victory. I hate the Eagles, and I had to design Superbowl Champions banners and signs for the parade the day after (I work for one of their sponsors). We had Eagles themed parties at work, and "wear your [terrible chinese counterfeit] jerseys to work" days.
But hey, the Red Wings have been pretty good to me. I missed the '09 Stanley Cup game 7 against Pittsburgh for a bachelor party.

Why not name it after Traverse City's favorite son (Sun?)
(I've never been to Traverse City, but I imagine Dan Majerle has multiple statues and streets named after him around the town.) -

El Paso Chihuahuas introduce new alternate logos
November 16, 2018 - 23:42 PM
In many ways, the arrival of the El Paso Chihuahuas in 2014 signaled the full arrival of the era of the wacky minor league logo. They weren’t the first, but they became the poster team, the mascot everyone pointed to […]
I'm really confused by what's going on around the dog's eye. Either I'm just not seeing it, or there's definitely something off there.
And I totally assumed their mascot was named Pepe.
Edit: Nashville went from one gorgeous identity to another. I wish they could have two teams, just so both of those looks get to exist.

I’ve actually never had pork roll, and people look at me like I have two heads when I say that. Scrapple, when cooked well done, is great - AS LONG AS YOU DONT THINK ABOUT WHAT IT IS. I’m typing this from the Melrose Diner in South Philly, smelling the scrapple on my neighbor’s plate, and while it’s not making me hard, there’s definitely a little movement happening.
There's a sandwich known as the JYD that has both pork roll AND scrapple on a long roll with eggs and cheese that's absolutely delicious. I've been told it's a DelCo thing, but I have no real evidence to support this other than what my co-worker told me.
I've eaten it twice and probably shaved a few years off my life. Worth it.

Isn't scrapple just the Mid-Atlantic's version of Spam?
It's nowhere close to being the same meat item, but as for being a regional favorite garbage meat, yes. There's also pork roll/taylor ham in the Mid-Atlantic (mostly Jersey). Depends where you live.
(Both are delicious, for the record....pork roll especially)

Not without his ‘stache.
He threw out the first pitch the other week when I was at a game, and I wasn't sure if it was him until they flashed his name up. It's like Steve Jeltz without his jheri curl.

Well, yes. I cannot claim to have visited such places very often. But a slightly seedy red-light district is necessary for any great and vibrant city.
As a New Yorker, I lament the virtually complete loss that sort of section here. We do have a Hustler club (to which I have never been, nor plan to go); but it is located in a remote spot, far from the centre of town.
However, we have completely lost the gritty feel of the old Times Square. In some ways it is nicer now, by virtue of the installation of a bike lane and the creation of a large zone for pedestrians and for lounging at tables. But the cheesification has gone way too far for my tastes.
So, when I saw that section of Baltimore Street, I had wistful memories of New York's 42nd Street from the 1970s and 1980s.
To be honest, I haven't visited these places often either (I went to the Hustler for a bachelor party once), but I drive down Baltimore Street every time I leave the city to get back on to route 83.

I visited Baltimore a couple of times last year just to get the feel of the city by riding my bike around it. (On the first visit I rode all the way there from home, on my way to Washington.) I remember passing the Hustler club and the other similar interesting places on Baltimore Street and thinking "cool" -- until my reverie was broken by noticing that police headquarters is located only a block away.
"Interesting places" = liquor stores, pawn/jewelry shops, strip clubs and more strip clubs.

Considering their brief history their "rare" for sure. The sewn on "Claws" is great! You know kinda who this team was in bad shape when their first choice of a nickname was "HUSTLERS"
Coincidentally, I've been to the Hustler in Baltimore.

Hmmmm...I think it'll look much better in sunlight rather than against a drab background, but the wheat/vintage white just doesn't look great with the brighter blue and yellow in those pictures. But, like I said, I think in brighter lights, these will look good.
