I bet Harbaugh picks up that phone if he gets the call, seeing as he called the Ohio State-Michigan rivalry manufactured today.
He's not wrong. It was always a rivalry, but all the "this is the only game that matters" bull
is a fairly recent development. If it has always been this way then someone needs to explain to me why John Cooper was allowed to coach the Buckeyes for 13 years while going 2-10-1 against Michigan.

How young and hungry or old and desperate do you have to be to take the Panthers job this offseason? Your #1OA quarterback you traded up for is a boy among men, the rest of your roster around him sucks ass, and you have no first-round pick this year to show for it because you also traded that (and your #1 WR) to the Bears, who are somehow possibly an even dumber franchise than yours. This is a job for the guy who gets coffee for the guy who gets coffee for Sean McVay, or, like, Ken Whisenhunt.
Sounds like a job for Ron Rivera.

Tepper is an Owner to Watch. He's a meddler and meddler's can be very fun. They don't know what they're doing, but they think they can alpha boss their way into sports championships the same way they alpha bossed themselves to a fortune with their hedge fund scams and it doesn't work in sports because sports don't let you game the system in the same way.
That job is reserved for the officials.

I go for the idea that Brady/Belichick was an equal partnership at first, but Brady overtook his coach in significance somewhere around 2007-10.I'd argue that Belichick began to rely on Brady too much. He started rolling the dice on personnel decisions because he knew he had the 2nd best QB of all-time to bail him out on the players that didn't work out. The team kept winning despite his bonehead personnel decisions, the wear really started to show, and here we are.

Then how do you know if the team the Eagles are playing is any good or not?

Brady is the GOAT. Belichick was a long for the ride. We had our question answered for real this season.
In Belichick's defense, he coached the '94 Browns to an 11-5 record and a playoff win over...you guessed it...New England with Vinnie Testaverde at QB. That has to count for something.

Certainly not any of the networks.

Oregon has a great chance of getting in because they're going to be Pac 12 champions with their only loss to the 1-loss Huskies.
Are you trying out the BBTV reverse jinx?

So I suppose it's going to annoy the hell out of everyone if a bunch of chaos happens again, and Ohio State sneaks back in?
(Washington gives Oregon a 2nd loss, Georgia gives Alabama a second loss, two loss Oklahoma beats Texas again, and Florida State loses... who else could it be?)
11-1 Toledo is the only option.

I'm happy for the Michigan win. That always makes my year. But damn if that wasn't an amazing game on both ends. That Buckeyes team played with heart. But glad Michigan wanted it more. Now it's the game where there's No pity for the Kitty. But looks like another year. Because ASU sucks.
*Puts on bitter Buckeyes fan hat* Michigan is going to get rolled in the playoff.
*Takes off bitter Buckeyes fan hat* It was a helluva game . You all outplayed us and deserved the win. Congrats.

neverwin! Three in a row for Michigan, this might be lights out for Ryan Day.Ryan Day isn't going anywhere. This loss was not on him. Honestly, I'm surprised this Ohio State team was able to go 11-1. I had them at 9-3 before the season. Truth be told, they've been playing a little over their heads all year. If anything, this season was a testament to Day's coaching ability. Hopefully, Ohio State doesn't pay any attention to the no-life, loudmouthed losers in the fanbase.

Having been at the SJSU game, I agree. It's been a fun year, and it's great to see them at 11-1, but they are far from a complete team, and would not fare well against most of the top 20. I'd expect them to end up in something like the Sun Bowl.
There isn't one team in the top 25 that I'd like their chances against. They might give Liberty a game, but I doubt it. Like you said, the Rockets are fun, but they are not a NY6 team. Not even close.

Exactly. It's more then likely they'll have to play SMU in the American Championship Game next weekend and if they falter, then either Toledo or Liberty could jump them and be the Group of Five rep in the New Year's Six.
I say this as a proud Toledo alum - the Rockets have no business playing in a New Year's Six bowl game.

Why do they call it that? Can't boat races be close? I've never competed in one, but I imagine it's just like any other race.
Curb stomped is the better option. Not much gray area with that one.

What good did that do them in January when they spit the bit vs @Sport and Cincy?
Pretty sure @Sport was on IR for the Tennessee game in 2021. If memory serves, he pulled a muscle playing golf.

We're just going to send it to the XII, so one of the 20 something members can analyze it. The analysis consists of not only a lab test, but a sniff and taste test. Sorry for which ever of the XII draws the short straw, but it must be done to protect the integrity of the board.
I'm sure you understand.
Which is why I'm glad I'm no longer low mod in seniority at the M-XII compound.

Apparently, his answer is no which leaves everyone with two options.
1. Live with it.
2. Don't open the thread.
The moderating team will not be taking any action on this matter.
