  1. I've seen this enough from you in this thread to offer you some advice: "Should have." He's probably thinking "should've" and typing it as "should of."
  2. The OK: The jerseys are not terrible. Definite upgrade over the previous set. Orange over white, white over orange, and all white combos are solid. (Fix the damned socks!) White over blue wouldn't be the worst thing ever. Blue jerseys over white with the primary helmet might look OK. The number font isn't bad. Not great, but not terrible. I like the finish on the blue helmet. I'm probably in the minority, but I'm OK with the 5280 on the helmets. The references to altitude should have stopped there, but Nike just can't help themselves. The Bad and all stupid: The alternate helmet looks like someone bought a blank helmet at Dick's Sporting Goods, threw a couple Broncos decals on it, and added some of that reflective safety tape stuff as a stripe. Was the helmet stripe supposed to remind me of the turn signals on my motorcycle? The dumb helmet stripe is the dumbest helmet stripe in the history of dumb helmet stripes and that's really saying something. The good things about the jerseys are ruined by the stupid "dissipating" triangles on the numbers. The "mountains" on the jersey sleeves look way better up close than they do from a distance. They should take up more space. As plenty of people have already said, the blue sets look a lot more like Boise State, UTEP, or UVA than they do like an NFL team. Someone should file a lawsuit over that monochrome orange disaster. Probably the blue one too. There are 2.5 decent combos (Cited above in OK) in the entire set. The rest are garbage. As is usually the case these days, there are too many monochrome combos. The pants stripes are idiotic. We get it, Colorado has mountains. Anyone who doesn't know that isn't going to suddenly figure it out because they saw some dumbass stripes on a pair of football pants. Overall grade: D. There are some good elements here. Unfortunately, none of them work very well together.
  3. Unfortunately, we can only award the POTD once per day. You should have waited until tomorrow to post this.
  4. These are awful. How are we even supposed to know how high above sea level we are when they're wearing those things? Let's make it official. The Majestic XII have spoken.
  5. That guy has terrible taste in uniforms. His takes were so bad that I had to stop following him. Outstanding.
  6. I'm nominating this for Post of the Day.
  7. And just like that, the new uniforms were made obsolete.
  8. Nowhere near as bad as I thought they'd be. I like the jerseys.
  9. And those changes were not for the better. It was a horrible uniform when it debuted and it remains a horrible uniform today. But I did like the colors.
  10. This is almost as bad of an omen as "embrace the past, look to the future" is. I'm not optimistic.
  11. You've both had your say now let's go to neutral corners and let it go.
  12. With the new helmet rules, there is no reason the Bills can't do their 80s Giants with a red helmet uniforms as a throwback or alternate.
  13. Just a little... Most HRs Brady Anderson hit in a season from 1988 to 1995: 21 in 1992 Brady Anderson HRs in 1996: 50 Most HRs Brady Anderson hit in a season from 1997 to 2002: 24 in 1999. It sure looks like he decided to try steroids for one season, didn't like the side effects or something, and went back to normal.
  14. People may not realize it because it looks nothing like a horse's mane. I always thought the terrible helmet stripes were just one of the terrible features of a terrible uniform that's been terrible since the day it was unveiled. Terribly speaking.
  15. Thanks for saving us the paperwork and making it easy, moron.
  16. I take offense to that, good sir. No one out Browns the Browns.
  17. I'm guessing that stripe probably wasn't designed to look like the turn signals on my motorcycle, but here we are.
  18. I've never watched the Office. Would you mind explaining your post using references that I might understand?
  19. That's about as likely as Vanderbilt winning the SEC next season.
  20. Nominating and seconding is open to anyone. The M-XII just confirms the process.
  21. If the Broncos pulled off a reasonable facsimile of those throwback jerseys, I could live with it. Here's hoping they didn't do a halfway decent jersey only to royally screw up the helmets and pants.
