Remember when NFL on NBC was by far the best show? Like, it was embarrassing for CBS, Fox and ESPN how much better NBC did with it? I hate that modern media is a race to the bottom.

My initial reaction was "wow, that's awful," but isn't that basically what Inside the NBA is?

It's crazy the Bills decided to sleepwalk through week one. Because they suddenly look like world beaters next to SF. What a stomping of Miami today.

Love, love, love the orca. The crest itself is an improvement, but almost anything would have been. I'm not blown away, but I don't hate it. Solid B, I would say. The new shirts will be the most telling if this is a home run or not.

As a fan, I'm hoping they keep the colors, drop the "FC" and anything beyond that is great. The logo is a joke and a redesign has been on hold for way too long.

When the Seahawks are good, it's like $400 to get in the building. The greater Seattle are is pretty well off, so they can fill the building. But with the general rising pricing of sports across the board, it does feel like if the locals don't care (like, say, the Chargers), then it feels like the building is only accessible to wealthy out-of-town fans. It's a really weird dynamic.

It's a shame that college football is such a zero sum game. You lose one game early and you're toast. A 1-16 NFL team starting 3-1 the following season would be a huge, huge accomplishment. An NCAA team does it and they're now trash. I get why; it's just too bad.

A 9-7 season sandwiched in between two decades of 5-11 felt really, really good. There is a certain part of lowered expectations that made the Sundays of the 2010s way less stressful than those of the 2020s as a Bills fan. Now is way better, of course, but also more existential.
