They need to stop messing around with black and grey alts and alt helmets and just make a set based on the Barry Sanders era unis. And leave the current lion alone. Yes I'm biased, but I think it's one of the best in the NFL.

The reason I loved the previous set is because of all the little things that made them feel 1970's-esque....namely the over-lapping numbers (which I originally hated) and the contrasting nameplate. I also much prefer the previous hem stripe.

Totally. I could live without the CAPITALS script, but that's a solid uni.

Apple, Google, Microsoft could build headquarters and the Saudis could claim Quebec City as their new capital, and the NHL still wouldn't give it a second thought.

I always thought the NHL could work in San Diego. It's a 3 million metro and they always seem to support their minor teams fairly well. Also, with no fall/winter sports anymore, sports fans may love another ticket in town.

Totally agree, they just seem very keen on giving it a shot.

You guys think there's any fire regarding the Connecticut Governor re: Yotes to Hartford? I feel that most of the fans that the Whalers abandoned have either hopped on with the Bruins, Rangers, Isles, or followed the Whalers down to Carolina.

I don't mind Denver's uni package. To me, it feels 'gritty'...which fits the theme of a gold miner. Personally, I think they should have based a whole package around these:

I don't get how it "doesn't make sense". It's an Orca, which are plentiful in the waters off B.C. It also forms a C for Canucks.

The Orca works. It's a solid logo and they've been relatively successful in it. Leave it alone.
