  1. I think they were blocked or were given issues by Arkansas State, who use Red Wolves. Salt Lake Stingers actually has a nice ring to it.
  2. If a move to Utah happens, do they keep the Coyotes identity? Utah is still desert-y/sort of southwest. I hope so, I love it.
  3. I'm only being half serious, but what about Tucson? It's got a metro pop of about a million. No suitable arena mind you, yet.
  4. Do you guys think that if the Coyotes hypothetically pack the U-hauls for Salt Lake City, that they would use Utah as their name, or Salt Lake City?
  5. Ducks really need to get rid of that stupid duck foot. One of the worst logos in history.
  6. I like what you're going for, but it's waaaay too busy.
  7. No, personally I like it like this. I know it eludes to a puck, but it could still be a purple puck. I mean the Isles have an orange and white puck in their logo.
  8. Honestly loved this logo and color scheme. Always thought it would also look great in their new color scheme as well. Everything they've used since 06 has just been blah.
  9. I've said before that I really wish the best for the 'Yotes as far as finding a solution to stay in the Phoenix metro area . When they first arrived, I fell in love with their brand and found it cool that there was an NHL literally in the middle of the desert. With that being said, on the flip side of the coin, obviously this clown show has gone on far too long.
  10. I know they had the Golden Eagles in the IHL and the Grizzlies currently (in the burbs I believe). Not sure how successful either of them were/are. I remember thinking back during the 02 Olympics that SLC would be a cool place for an NHL team.
  11. Not sure if any of you listen to NHL radio on sirius, but they've been talking about Cleveland as a possibility on the air this morning.
  12. What's with the logo shrinking on the right side?
  13. If Houston gets a franchise one way or another, would they share the Toyota Center, or build a new arena?
  14. Absolutely. They almost would've been better off renovating/expanding Jarry Park.
  15. Can anyone enlighten on me why we're talking about expansion? I mean 20 years ago we were talking about contraction.
  16. Nice, but I think black works for the Sens. Even though they're in Canada's capital, they've got rival Habs and Flames rocking heavy red. Black is their thing.
  17. Pardon my ignorance, but is this basically a done deal? Like no chance of them staying in Oakland?
  18. I agree that Houston needs a team. Massive growing, population with a fanbase that has always seemed to support their teams fairly well. Atlanta, no. I'm sorry but 2 failed franchises has to tell you something.
  19. Forsyth is actually much closer to Macon than Atlanta, so this would be a prime opportunity to bring back these bad boys:
