That looks good to me, but I have a feeling they wouldn't go to a stadium with just one side of seats. Think the optics of it might matter to Rabil and company in the PLL .

Well IMO the best DCU has ever looked was in 2016-17 when they had the set with red stripes. Visually superior to every other kit in their history. It always bugged me that white was heavily featured over red on the black primary kits for most of the club's history. The 2016 set changed that, well briefly. I understand having white numbers and name on back. Even the sponsor logos & main manufacture logo on the chest being white I get. With that said, every other non-black element on the kits should be red. Their nickname is the "Black & Red". Not the Black & White with Small Amounts of Red. So yeah. 9/10 for the new jerseys. They look good, but red stripes would make it look better

Don't know if the thread was made with the intention of solely being a PLL thread, but for those of you that have ESPNU Johns Hopkins vs Loyola (delay) is going to air at 8pm.

I like the simplicity of DC United's new jerseys. Solid 9/10 in my book. If the shoulder stripes were red instead of white, I'd give it a perfect score.

I agree in regard to the use of silver on the orange Cincinatti jersey. The worst part of the Rooney years were the silver numbers and stripes on DCU's kits.

Really hope Austin's primary kit in 2023 is green/verde dominant. Let's be honest. their current kits are black with some green stripes on the front. I love their color combination, but expected their look to be predominantly green.

Okay. As long as the Adidas stripes on the jerseys and shorts are red instead of white (or effing silver) I can live with it.

Wow what's going on? At one point not too long ago C-USA was arguably the best mid major conference in both football and men's basketball. Now they've been lapped by the Sunbelt Conference.

PLL tour went there last season. Besides the permanent NFL markings sewn into the turf it was a nice facility for them. PLL should stick to small stadiums for the time being. I know they need to go to Boston/New England every season, but Gillette is way too big of a venue for what the PLL is right now. To my knowledge there are not any suitable alternatives in the Boston area as far as small stadiums go. Maaaaybe the place where the rugby team (Freejacks) plays. Even though that's not on par with other PLL venues.

I could have sworn years ago we discovered (here on this forum) the Broncos stripe does not contain any clear portions in between each orange strip. Not talking about retail versions of the stripe decal that can be ordered online for your local team's helmets. I mean the version that is used on the Denver Broncos' actual helmets. It's all one stripe with orange and blue portions.

It's a summertime league. You can't reasonably expect them to play all night games. MLB doesn't even do that. 2 out of 21 games so far with a 1pm start time ain't bad. If they drink enough water, wear sunscreen, light clothing, a hat and sunglasses the lacrosse fans of Albany and Long Island will be fine watching a game on a June afternoon.

Heard rumors PLL may be leaving NBC and moving to ESPN as it's broadcast partner. Which means 80% of the games will probably be exclusive to ESPN+ Premier Lacrosse League likely headed to ESPN (sportsbusinessjournal.com)

If that's the case, couldn't they have just pulled a Colts move and put black swooshes on the white jerseys while leaving the letters, numbers and stripes burgundy and gold? Hmmm. Should we be worried about Indy breaking out black alternates?

White over burgundy would be tolerable. Burgundy over white looks bad with the numbers, letters and stripes being predominantly gold. Especially since the pants are blank. They really need a pair of gold pants.
