Watch and see the mascot ends up being the gawdam dog! Why man? WHYYYYY?!?!? Is the Commanders' front office oblivious to the existence of the Cleveland Browns and their secondary dog identity? This franchise was fortunate enough to have a secondary identity of hogs/pigs ready to go whenever the old name's controversy became too much of a heat magnet to hold on to. Did they go that route when it name was ultimately changed? Nope. Then for the first time in franchise history they decide to have a costumed mascot. Clearly the smart thing would be to unveil a hog mascot. That's what they're going to do right? Maybe. Perhaps. We'll see how the fan vote turns out which included a superhero, a (likely) George Washington figure and of course the dog mentioned before. This whole situation could have been a lot easier than it's ended up being smh Just pick the friggin hog Snyder! Jeez!

The bears' orange alternate uniforms are not bad in a general sense. They just don't look like the Chicago bears. The navy blue helmets and socks look way better with the orange jerseys. This sorta looks like an Illinois vs Minnesota Big Ten game

In fairness the Vikings, Rams and Eagles helmet logos are all considered secondary marks. Not a unique thing within the league's branding. Only thing with Washington is their primary and secondary marks are just color swaps of each other. I'm still waiting for them to start selling burgundy hats with the gold W. Like the first secondary logo shown.

Yellow sock wouldn't hurt either. Jalen Ramsey proved it goes well with the blue pants.

Royal blue and black has never looked good together on any sports uniform I've seen. The one exception being the Orlando Magic in the early 2000s (T-Mac era).

Well guess I got my wish in regards to the Commanders losing in all black today I'll say the same thing about the Giants throwbacks I said about the Rams throwbacks. I didn't like back then, and I don't like them now. Those were never good uniforms. I will die on that hill.

I'm conflicted. The old man in me wants the Commanders to lose every time they were the black alternates so they'd get pushed into retirement sooner. The fan in me however wants them to beat dallas because... rivalry, and they really need a win after that shellacking by the Eagles.

Tigers must be popular in the deep south. The SIAC (D2 conference in much of the same footprint) has 5 member schools called the tigers.

I really liked the previous Titans' jersey, but Puma and Reebok's versions of it looked better than Nike's to me. Nike made changes to the shoulder yoke that were a downgrade to me. The yoke became thinner and oddly stopped at the cuff line when the switch to Nike began.

So do the Rams have a yellow sock option, or did Ramsey go into business for himself? If a yellow option is available, I'd really like to see how the Rams would look in white/blue/yellow. To a lesser extent blue/blue/yellow.

Fate of a Sport aired on ESPN earlier tonight. Was a good watch. The former owner of the Chesapeake Bayhawks came off like a massive d-bag. I still want to know what the Rabils would have done if they were able to purchase MLL years ago.

I dislike captain identifiers in sports. You can name team captains without putting that target on them.

Visual of what North Carolina A&T decided to wear last night. And here's a pic of the spiked collar helmet striped Bowie State (D2) now wears that I posted about yesterday.

North Carolina A&T is wearing those ugly yellow to white fade/gradient jerseys right now on ESPN3. They're wearing them with their navy blue helmets, plain white pants and white socks.

Really wish Appalachian State would go back to using the white A decal on their helmets. SN: App State is guilty of overusing the same logo in their uniform. Both sides of helmet, both sleeves, collar and on the hip of the pants. Thought they had some mountaineer man logos in addition to the A? SN2: Meanwhile in Division 2, Bowie State University has done something unique (as far as I know at least) with their helmet stripes. They're the Bulldogs and their colors are black and yellow/gold. From a distance it looks like they have a basic yellow/black/yellow stripe on their black helmets. A close up of the team showed the stripes actually have white spikes along the yellow parts mimicking a spiked dog collar. If I'm able to find a quality pic I will post it later.
