  1. Saints should use the number font from their white Color Rush set.
  2. Because I like it for multiple reasons and feel it would've been a better decision than the helmet & color combo they went with. There are a ton more teams in the league wearing Black/Black or Navy/Navy helmet/facemask combos then there are teams that wear Silver or White helmets with Dark facemasks. Carolina would be the only other one, off the top of my head. And the Falcons' best look of all-time - in my opinion - were the Deion-era uniforms with Silver pants.
  3. Disagree 100%. Combinations matter. One can be perfect, and changing out to another color pant, helmet, sock, etc. can completely throw off the balance of a look and how it all works together. Saints are a great example. They look great & timeless in Gold/Black/Gold/Black. They look great in Gold/White/Gold/Black. They even look good in Gold/White/White/Black. But they look like dog:censored: in Gold/Black/Black/Black and Gold/White/Black/Black. And they look like major dog:censored: in those solid White pants they wear with their Black jerseys last year. Lastly, one bad helmet can ruin one of the best looks in all of football:
  4. Last comment on this because I get triggered when I see the ATL uniforms: find me someone on the planet who thinks Atlanta's current set is better than this, or a slightly modernized version of this: And again, if you put that Black/White/Red logo on this helmet below, with a helmet stripe that matches the pant stripe, and Grey pants, it's a tremendous uniform:
  5. This is exactly how I feel about the Titans. Their insistence on wearing the Navy pants with home, away, and with the Light Blue jersey ruin what is otherwise a much better design than the Jets, Commanders, Falcons. They should wear White pants home & away, and only wear the Light Blue pants for Color Rush games wearing the Light Blue jersey (which also looks best with White pants) and an occasional Away game with the White jersey. GOOD: MEH: NOT GOOD:
  6. The helmet was an upgrade. The rest of the uniform set should be thrown in fires of Hell. Horrific wordmark, number font, striping and gradient bull:censored:. All they had to do was bring back an updated set of Deion-era Black jerseys with Grey pants and the whatever satin/anodized Grey helmet/Black facemask that the Colorado Buffaloes (ironically) have in their set and it would’ve been a Top 10 uniform. The silver helmet worn by UCF would’ve been another great option:
  7. The New York Jets have entered the chat.
  8. Totally gonna be Sand, Copper, Clay AND Bone, bro.
  9. So with this starting at 6pm MST, and no daylight savings time in effect, we're not going to see these until well after 9pm on Thursday night on the east coast, right? I tell you what, they better have hit it out of the park with these. In this day & age, you can't tease this long and not deliver. I'm already over the speculation. If these aren't impressive, the Cardinals will deserve all the criticism that comes.
  10. The lack of Yellow, and how it’s only on the sleeve stripe, really makes these “meh”. The flag was really a big part of the identity. This is an over correction.
  11. Mizzou’s black jerseys are interesting in the fact that the sleeves are sublimated; the stripes are not printed on the same jersey fabric as is usually the case. You can tell by shinier fabric of the entire sleeve cap, and the sleeve band is slightly different. This leans towards it coming out of the team catalog, or them at least being forced to go that route from Nike Direct due to production issues…which I’m told is still a major issue with football uniforms again this year. The Nike Team ordering window was super short for small college/high school, per my contacts in team sales. Did Georgia ever wear those spiked collar jerseys in a game?
  12. This really needs to happen. Would be one of the best “brands” in college sports.
  13. This is a great update for Mizzou. I don’t follow them closely so I don’t know what they did last year, but while I always liked their modern unis and use of Black, Athletic Gold and Anthracite especially, they were always a tad…I don’t know, unprofessional. As in, I couldn’t take them quite seriously. This update, while yes, simple & basic, is what a school with some prestige would wear. Alabama, Auburn, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Clemson, Notre Dame, Penn State, Texas…all these teams wear simple, iconic uniforms and it just gives a feeling of strong tradition, history, and validity. Nice to see Mizzou go this direction.
  14. Numbers look smaller. Exactly what I feared with this new template. Otherwise, perfect update.
  15. When it’s the same logo, Jack.
  16. Kinda rubs me the wrong way when a team’s helmet doesn’t match its official logo.
  17. So facemask is either Grey/Silver/Chrome or Black…
  18. This has been a fun one, for sure.
