  1. Seems to be where this bird is landing.
  2. Yes, they wouldn't go through the work of making that teaser (and I'm sure more to come) just to have Goodell give their pick a jersey at the draft. These things have way too much work put into them to just flippantly do it that way. Maybe instead of the 17th, it'll be a week later, such as the 25th, 2 days before the draft. Side Note: anyone in these forums going to KC for the draft?
  3. It's the 13th, and tomorrow is Friday; if a media reveal was scheduled for Monday the 17th, wouldn't media invites have gone out already? And if the reveal was going to be on Monday the 17th, I'd suspect some type of leak would come out this weekend, either via merch in-store or a Jags or Commanders-esque facility graphic installation...unless they're going to pay those teams to install on the weekend, which I suppose is possible.
  4. If this is Photoshop, it’s a pretty decent one. Even has Valley of the Sun in the inside collar. That’s the old wordmark and font though, can’t imagine they’d retain those, so fairly obvious it’s not real, not that I assumed it was.
  5. I was a big fan of the 2013 font, but I think it’s time has finally passed. These 3 jerseys, in the latest font, should be the next & final evolution of their uniform. Maybe remove the Jag head from the left chest, add the lunging Jag on each cap sleeve, and you’ve got a timeless set that combines multiple eras and makes sense.
  6. Let’s just pray to God it’s not something like this (found on Twitter):
  7. Same…they’ve held up well. If they just stuck with Teal/White at home and White/Teal away, they’d always look good.
  8. That would be an interesting direction, also, given Pat Tillman's relevance to the franchise. It's a foregone conclusion that they'll have combos, but you can also bet your ass there will be an alt uniform; will they go with a Throwback, namely the Pat Tillman era, or really lean into it and go military? Desert Camo, with a theme of honor & service in tribute to Tillman does make sense as a brand identity to build around, though not everyone will love it.
  9. I would be completely on-board with Copper. Unique, fitting. I wonder if the helmet finish is textured...not like an egg, but like Ohio State's cannonball-looking helmet from a few years back? Cue up the "Eggheads" jokes. I would be okay with this, except for the fact that it looks like a nightmare for decals to adhere to.
  10. I can at least applaud them for this aspect of it. They could’ve mailed it in. It’ll all come down to execution now, but at least they’ll have reinvented the brand.
  11. it is, with the wordmark photoshop’d out
  12. Someone posted this in the comments and it would be logical if it wasn’t so damn sad.
  13. Yeah, I really don’t like. The Bacon Neck collar design is stupid. The vertical seams on the body are meh and teams will have to possibly sew over them to fit numbers or downsize numbers. The Lions have one of the smallest-looking number fonts in the league, unless they made them bigger starting with this template change, so teams with bolder fonts could have an issue. The last template was perfect. Shame they’re moving away from it.
  14. I like DC's uniform components, but I'm never a fan of wearing a dark color pant when your helmet is White or light in color. This looks too much like Wisconsin for me. The Seattle uniform just looks like an indoor semi-pro uniform, but helped by the fact that it's made by Under Armour.
  15. I think we've gone down the road in the past of speculating on what teams were doing with their brands & uniforms based on social media graphics, and there wasn't a relation. Who knows, though. They do seem to be using Process Blue a little more now, and I am now firmly in the camp that preferred the previous Nike color better. It was just bright and more vibrant. It really popped before, but now it's borderline dull. I wouldn't be shocked if they made Silver/Blue/White their primary to better align with Tepper's soccer team. It would be a shame, but with how little they wore their beautiful Silver/Black/Silver sets in recent years, it would be unsurprising.
  16. @j'villejags just stumbled upon this thread after seeing the link in your signature. These are, I think, the nicest concepts I've seen done on these boards. Nailed the Browns. Love the star patterns on the sleeve of the Patriots and avoidance of Navy pants; the Falcons concept is 1000x better than what we ultimately got; ditto with Washington. The artwork/template itself is just beautiful. If you ever decide to dust these files off again, would love to see the Falcons Black jersey/Grey pant set with an Anodized/Satin Silver helmet, and anything else you'd come up with. Maybe a good time for a Cardinals attempt?
  17. And just for fun, divisions with 8 expansion teams for a total of 40 NFL franchises: AFC EAST Buffalo Bills Miami Dolphins New England Patriots New York Jets *Orlando AFC NORTH Cincinnati Bengals Cleveland Browns Baltimore Ravens Indianapolis Colts Pittsburgh Steelers AFC SOUTH *Alabama (Birmingham) Houston Texans Jacksonville Jaguars *New Mexico (Albuquerque) Tennessee Titans AFC WEST Denver Broncos Kansas City Chiefs Las Vegas Raiders Los Angeles Chargers *San Diego NFC EAST Dallas Cowboys New York Giants Philadelphia Eagles Washington Commanders *Toronto NFC CENTRAL Chicago Bears Detroit Lions Green Bay Packers Minnesota Vikings *St. Louis NFC SOUTH Atlanta Falcons Carolina Panthers New Orleans Saints Tampa Bay Buccaneers *San Antonio NFC WEST Arizona Cardinals Los Angeles Rams San Francisco 49ers Seattle Seahawks *Oregon (Portland) or Utah (Salt Lake City) Could jostle some of these around, of course. Sure makes you wonder how long until the NFL moves to expand. Money talks.
  18. Yes, growing internationally adds a lot of complicated logistics. It makes much more sense to expand domestically and create a completely separate international league. If they added 4 new teams and went back to the previous 6-division layout (with 6 teams each, instead of 5), they could revert to the traditional East, Central, and West format, while yes, eliminating the South divisions. Depending on what new cities were added, I'm sure some of the alignments wouldn't make sense; however, it would almost allow...if we could move past some longstanding rivalries...the chance to correctly align teams in proper geographic divisions: AFC EAST Buffalo Bills Jacksonville Jaguars Miami Dolphins New England Patriots New York Jets *Orlando (expansion) AFC CENTRAL Cincinnati Bengals Cleveland Browns Baltimore Ravens Indianapolis Colts Pittsburgh Steelers Tennessee Titans AFC WEST Denver Broncos Kansas City Chiefs Las Vegas Raiders Los Angeles Chargers *San Antonio (expansion - Jerry Jones would hate it, but it's the largest city in the US to not have an NFL team. The mayor said in 2021 that he believes they'll have a team within 10 years...what does he know that we don't?) Seattle Seahawks NFC EAST Atlanta Falcons Carolina Panthers New Orleans Saints New York Giants Philadelphia Eagles Tampa Bay Buccaneers NFC CENTRAL Chicago Bears Houston Texans Detroit Lions Green Bay Packers Minnesota Vikings *St. Louis (expansion) NFC WEST Arizona Cardinals Dallas Cowboys Los Angeles Rams *Oregon (Washington Commanders relocation to Portland. Theorizing that Bezos buys the team and wants to move it to the West Coast but San Diego still won't pay for a stadium and the NFL says no to 4 teams in CA. Therefore, the Oregon Primes are born. ) San Francisco 49ers *Utah (expansion - the Governor there say he'd pull out all the stops to get a team) Just having some fun here. I think the NFL expanding to 40 teams, with at least half of those being international, while putting teams back in St. Louis & San Diego, is more likely, while retaining 8 divisions, 4 in each conference. Not that I'd like that.
  19. They do. I do, too. However, if it made sense for any team to do it, it’s probably the Cardinals. Not sure if that’s because of the State Flag, the vision of the sun setting over the desert that’s easy to assign to the Southwest in general, or because the Arizona Wildcats used it on their jersey sleeve years ago.
  20. I feel like Jacksonville would be the team most easily enticed into loving to London. Haven’t been following but I know a few years back the Khans had a master plan developed for that site and were intent on transforming that stadium area. I truly hate the logistics of international expansion and I can’t imagine, unless those franchises are given a different salary cap limit to entice players to live overseas, that those teams would be able to be competitive. I think free agents would avoid them and I could see draft picks refusing to report. Imagine growing up dreaming of playing for an NFL team and then getting drafted to play in Frankfurt. Expansion just seems tricky; at 32 teams now, you’d have to add 4 franchises (crazy) and go back to 3 divisions in each conference (w/6 teams each) or add 8 teams, which is doubly insane, to keep 4 divisions in each conference (with 5 teams each).
  21. ha, reasons I shouldn’t post before my first morning coffee.
  22. Thanks for playing and putting some thought into this. All points fun to ponder. San Antonio certainly makes sense. Virginia Generals makes sense to me, but I’m a Civil War buff, and I’m sure it would never get traction in today’s day & age. I think the name was used for a minor league baseball team in the past. Living in Orlando, I’d be thrilled to get an NFL and/or MLB team here. With Camping World Stadium having gone through lots of renovations over the last 10 years, it would be a plug & play move. Stadium is good enough to host the Pro Bowl & Wrestlemania. Add in a billionaire owner to add some extra upgrades before 2026 and it would be a huge splash. Either way, if California can have 3 teams, so could Texas or Florida. EDIT: Yeah, Florida already has 3 teams. But what the hell, give us a 4th
