  1. I have the Dallas Cowboys' 50th Anniversary book and they have a greyscale image of the field from Super Bowl VI. Granted, you can't really see 'Dolphins' clearly has it has people scattered in the endzone. The aerial image was taken I presume during the pre-game festivities, but I can make out the 'Dolphins' in places and it isn't as large as you have it. The scripts for 'Dolphins' and 'Cowboys' were roughly the same size.
  2. 8, thats when they start getting really good. Super Bowl VIII; that's Miami vs. Minnesota. Should be interesting to see all the SB fields with the helmet logos in the endzone. I think anywhere from XXX-XXXIII [30-33] was the last Super Bowl with the helmet logos in the endzone (I think Super Bowl XXX was the last).
  3. Nice job. Which Super Bowl was the first one to introduce the helmets into the endzone?
  4. Can't wait to see it. It should be good.
  5. Ah yes. Super Bowl V; "The Blunder Bowl". Weird how Dallas has been apart of pretty much all the highest turnover Super Bowl games, and to this date Chuck Howley became the only MVP from the losing team. And Bob Lilly was known for chucking his helmet in rage like 20-30 yards down the field after O'Brien's GW-FG. Also, that AFC logo is really boring. I know this was the first year the AFC existed as a conference, but...it's still boring.
  6. Do wonder why the Chiefs used inverse colors for their helmet hole and screws instead of having them white like Minnesota did.
  7. The shade of blue for the Baltimore endzone seems to be a lighter shade of blue in this video. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GIxIRkiThak
  8. Since when did the Raiders ever have "The Oakland" as opposed to just Oakland? Was this just a a one-off thing for the Super Bowl (or at this point in time the 2nd NFL-AFL Championship game)? Or was that their actual logo for that season or something? SportsLogos.net says that Raiders logo was only used during the 1963 season, and this is 5-6-7 years later. What compelled them to use this logo for this game?
  9. This is going to be an awesome series and I can't wait to see all the other Super Bowl fields.
  10. Speaking of the Colonel; weren't they going to drop him and go with a black bear a few years ago? What happened with that? Didn't they go with a "Rebel Shark"? Could've sworn they did. Would be an interesting update to see with Colonel Reb.
  11. Okay then, but still. It's a great hit by Clowney yes; but certainly a very overrated one.
  12. The Jadeveon Clowney hit in last years' Outback Bowl is the most-overrated defensive play of the past decade; college or professional. Yes, it's a good hit, but I mean come on; Denard Robinson hung his running back out to dry on that one.
  13. I don't think you saw this, but could you update this old logo of Rowdy of the Dallas Cowboys from the 60s?
  14. Old Rowdy has REALLY seen better days. Would love to see an update of this logo for the Dallas Cowboys.
  15. Was curious if you could update the old Lehigh University logo; back when they were called the Engineers? (Maybe in the colors of their current logo?) Thanks in advance.
  16. I think the Rays can be successful in Tampa Bay, however; they shouldn't build a giant, cavernous stadium like their fellow Florida-ites the Marlins did.
  17. Really? You're really moving the Redskins out of the NFC East? Away from their storied tradition with their rivals? You're really going to get rid of the Cowboys-Redskins rivarly; which in its heydey was one of the firecest rivalries in sports? And at this current point in time, has the potential for rebirth? I don't get this. At all.
