  1. St Louis QB AJ McCarron took less money from the XFL so his sons could see him play instead of sitting on the bench come fall. In a world of DJ Swearingers, be an AJ McCarron.
  2. Judging by your profile picture, you’d remember this guy as the dude who repeatedly complained about his teammates, coaches, fans, and the entire organization while with Washington. 2 maybe 3 out of those 4 are warranted, though. Swearinger career upon release from Washington- (2019) Cardinals- 4 games Raiders- 4 games Saints- 1 game (2020) Saints- 11 games (2021) Colts- practice squad for 2 games (2022) DNP But yeah sure DJ, your very notable “legacy” would take such a negative hit for an opportunity at exposure.
  3. That’s what I was getting at. My mind said one thing but my typing said another.
  4. NEWS AT 10: Local washed up clown says “no thanks” to career rebirth
  5. I gotta be the only one who doesn’t mind the Steelers Lite angle the Maulers are taking
  6. I believe teams typically try to use their best perceived jersey in signing announcements.
  7. @BBTV Philly has been losing guys left and right. How are you feeling?
  8. PAC12 should just dissolve. Have the southern teams (Arizona, ASU, etc) join the Big 12 Mid-Pacific teams go to B1G The northern teams plus NDSU & SDSU merge join the Mountain West forming a new Rain Belt Conference
  9. Washington continuing the tradition of signing mehbodies* *- they aren’t “nobodies”, but they’re all certainly middle of the pack players.
  10. There should be one allotted “forward” pass if the defense recovers a fumble or an interception occurs. However, if the attempted pass does not reach the original offensive line of scrimmage, it shall be a negated fumble recovery and reissue of down on offense.
  11. This dude doesn’t seem reliable in the slightest. Just throwing :censored: at the fan
  12. Daron Payne’s new extension with Washington for 4 yr/$90M ($60M Guaranteed) makes him the second highest paid DT (behind Aaron Donald)
  13. Not sure how saying the presumptive QB1 will be part of a starting job competition is “coddling”. Bringing in a QB, any QB you know would win the starting job without stepping on the practice field is counterproductive to the team saying it’s a “competition”. In the off chance Washington snags Jackson and he ends up getting beat out by Howell, you’ve got a ~$40/yr backup, in salary cap hell, can’t keep the players you need, and out two first round picks.
  14. I’m all for hyping up draft prospects but calling these guys “physical specimens” and alike terminology needs to be stopped. They aren’t some exotic creature. This isn’t window shopping.
  15. I can’t wait until the Frederick [Insert Name That Has Nothing To Do With The City] move after two seasons and become the Hagerstown Slum Bums
  16. Howell is the QB1 headed into the new league year, but there will be some time of competition. Highly doubt its anyone like Lamar. It definitely wasn’t going to be Derek Carr or even Daniel Jones either. Let Heinicke loose. If the team brings him back, all it takes is one bad throw by Howell for the chants to start. Fans love Taylor. They’d need someone like Jacoby Brissett or Mike White. The type of QB that will put pressure on Howell, but won’t exactly be breathing down his neck. My long shot hope/wish though, is Ryan Tannehill. It kinda goes against me saying “no top starters”. However, Tannehill has fallen off as of late and his days in Tennessee are seemingly nearing a close.
  17. Catching up on some things: • Chase Daniel is who Matt Flynn wishes he was • Dan Snyder is, well, to put it lightly, a :censored: • There’s a faction of Commanders fans who damn near fetishize the idea of the team getting Lamar. It needs to stop. It’s weird. I like Jackson, but Sam Howell is the contested QB1. The team literally said so. Why go get a player you know damn well will get the job from the jump? • That Will Levis thing-
  18. UPDATE; Josh Berry will pilot the 9 on ovals and Corvette Racing’s Jordan Taylor will drive at COTA
  19. There’s a rumor going around that Spire may loan Corey LaJoie to Hendrick to drive the 9.
  20. The famed DC Beer Snake extended from the bottom of the section all the way to the top railing and had to curve to avoid going out of the stadium
  21. Finally was able to catch some of the action yesterday. Watched StL-DC. My lord, Ta’amu looks fantastic. The Defenders lucked out. Much better QB situation than hapless Cardale Jones in 2020.
  22. My girlfriend and I pronounce Kia as “K’NA” because of how to logo looks now
