What a disaster all around: -Boring and generic logos -mismatching home/road sets -mono primary uniform? -BFBS The burgundy jersey is fine on its on but the fact it looks like it's gonna be worn with the same color pants and socks ruins the whole thing. The BFBS jersey rivals the Rams' bone for the worst jersey in a league. Wish the two helmet rule was still for throwbacks only as well.

Shouldn't the Devils be the ones doing this?

Has to be. The Vikings eventually switched to purple jerseys at half time and were mono for the rest of the game.

I'd be ok with the color rush (with white pants) becoming the primary, with a white counterpart and then keeping the navy current as the "Super Bowl" alt/throwback. But beyond that just keep what you have. I also don't trust current NFL designers/Nike to come up with something better.

I could be misremembering but I think Bud Adams' daughter isn't a big fan of the columbia blue and prefers navy.

I hope there's an actual logo that goes with the new identity and its also on the helmet and they just don't throw that current place holder W they've been using on the helmet.

I loved these uniforms too. But Nike can't won't make shiny pants. So they would look dull and muted and not as good.

Funny story about that game. The Vikings only wore purple pants in that game because they knew Brad Childress hated them and were in the midst of a borderline mutiny against him. They also wore them again the next week on the road in Chicago. (He was fired the following week after a blowout loss at home to GB in white pants) The white jerseys of those uniforms were designed to be worn with purple pants but almost never were, probably because of Childress. In the 7 year history of those uniforms purple pants were only worn 5x in the regular season. 3x on the road (twice in 06, the inaugural year of them, then once in 2010 as mentioned above) and 2x mono purple (once in 07 and the above).

I've probably said this before I but I drink a lot and forget things, but the talk in the NHL thread brings me here to say I love the Fisherman logo, maybe because I was 5 when it came out, IDK, but I even own a hoody with that logo on it (it's actually may favorite fitting hoody) and I'm not even an Islanders fan.

I don't think the Cancuks are nearly as bad as the other two. I'd throw the DALLAS Edge jerseys in the mix even if they weren't technically an alternate (Although I think the White version was originally). And also there's this:

Why is the E so big/wide in the Nashville jersey? It could just be an illusion but it seems so disproportionate to the other letters. EDIT: Holy crap I just noticed the S's, Captain patch and the numbers. This jersey keeps getting worse.

Predators jersey is terrible. Lightning is ok. "Smash ville" Is the NHL becoming the NBA now?

The Devils could've done a straight color swap to a black base of any jersey in their history since they moved to NJ and no one would have complained. Instead they came up with that over-designed mess and the cringe marketing speak with it. I think the only script as crest NHL jerseys I've ever liked were the recently retired Aviator blue Jets ones and the old green alts the Wild used to have.

Why would they get rid of the beautiful script for a generic block font? If anything remove the white outline and call it a day.

Such an improvement. I wouldn't even mind a double outline to bring gold back into the equation. Or maybe just replace the black outline with gold? Either way all of their jerseys need real contrasting outlines. (And the pants need stripes too)

I prefer the Disney Angels look to what they've sported since 02.

The Spurs one is my absolute favorite. Really like the Wolves, Nets, Hawks, Sixers, Lakers and Bucks too. The only really terrible ones are Miami and OKC. Don't understand why Orlando used orange and not blue either.

I actually don't mind the Charlotte jersey. *shrug*

That Nets jersey is gorgeous. The random swoops near the arm pit ruin the Mavs one. Just feels too forced to find a way to mix in the current/Dirk era unis. How they come so close to the wordmark almost reminds me of how wrestlers or people cut their shirts for workouts.
