  1. There are many possible Super Bowl rematches that could happen this year. I predict a rematch of XXVII & XXVIII, with the Bills facing my Cowboys. SB IV, with the Vikings and Chiefs SB XVI, with the Niners and Bengals SB XXIII, with the Niners and Bengals SB LVI, with the Niners and Chiefs
  2. Seattle doesn't need white pants, and I forgot they even had white pants to begin with.
  3. And yet none of those teams have gained any ground in the hearts of New York fans. The real NY teams know who they are (and they all wear blue).
  4. These "icy" all-white are superior to every other teams' all-white look for one reason: Striped socks.
  5. Seattle Seahawks With the news of the Seahawks' throwbacks returning in 2023 (and the debate it sparked in the NFL 2022 Changes thread), i tried to see how well a mashup of both the 90's and current-day Seattle would fare. You be the judge. A brighter, but not fully royal blue, and a darker, but not fully kelly green are the colors chosen, which seemed appropriate for a 90s/2010s combination. 1983-2001 set is the base, with updated colors, including dark grey replacing silver. Curent number font returns. Sock stripes that match the pant/jersey/logo stripe are added. The much-beloved (or much-hated) green alternate jersey returns. Throwback is from the 2002-2011 Hasselback-era set.
  6. Huh. I never knew these existed. It's a nice nod to the 2000s' black jersey, but both of these infringe upon Carolina's established brand territory. They didn't need to exist.
  7. Rough sketch of what I'm envisioning:
  8. Theoetically, if Seattle ever did wamt to go back to this look full time, they could uses the chest sleeves from Cleveland's disasterous set, thus creating room for the logo to be hidden in the stripe whilst still being distinguishable from said stripe. Their current set shows they have no problem stretching onto the sleeves.
  9. I wondered if there would ever be a post to warrant all 13 possible reactions.
  10. As a Cowboys fan...no. I'd rather see a darker blue with the silver-blue pants (like the 70s) or the royal blue with the flat silver. Navy/flat silver is bland.
  11. If the Lions just take the stripes and helmet logo of the top picture and put it on the botttom, we'd be cookin':
  12. The Bills have played on Thanksgiving 3 of the last 4 years. They have won all three of those games.
  13. Mods, pay close attention to some of the new users. I think a irememberedmylogin will pay us a visit during the draft.
  14. I like the change, for two reasons. Firstly, in still pictures the pants look powder blue, but in-game they look like (heavy)-blue tinted silver, especially in stadiums with artificial light, such as AT&T Stadium And secondly, they look closer to what they used to/should be wearing.
  15. Washington plays NY twice (before and after their WK14 bye) and then Dallas at home. I'd say they split the series with New York, which is probably going to hurt both teams' chances in the long run.
  16. I'm surprised no opne talked about the Broncos busting out their Color Rush. I thought it looked pretty good against the Raiders.
  17. Not many people (even here) noticed the change.
  18. Do you have any evidence? 'Cuz the last time you tried to make us take your word for it...you got suspended.
  19. So you're telling me Heinicke was fined for drinking on the team plane and he wasn't drining a Heineken?
  20. I wonder how big the talent gap is between the NBA and overseas.
  21. According to the good 'ol GUD, this game took place during the 1966 season. (As to which game it is, well, it's either preseason Week 3 or reg. season Week 16)
