  1. Back to the D.C. United primary mark that I mentioned...here's what they currently use: ...here's what they used for the first couple of seasons: ...and here's what was originally proposed and not used: This last one is a scan of an official MLS logosheet from 1996.
  2. I've got an unused D.C. United logo from the inaugural season...I've been meaning to scan it and post.
  3. The one on the left was introduced last season as the BP cap mark; haven't seen the version with the star before:
  4. There's still one more club (that I know of) that's supposed to unveil a new set. Can't really say who it is, but it's a refresh of their existing identity; keeping same nickname and basic color scheme.
  5. I've seen OKC and SB...there's another rebrand/logo tweak coming I haven't seen mentioned, and haven't seen Daytona yet.
  6. Last set for tonight... The Pirates apparently didn't start using what we now know as a "primary logo" until around 1934 or so. Most of these teams that have been around since the beginning didn't make a habit of this until the '30s or '40s. Circa 1934 through 1960: 1961 through 1966 (was an alternate primary mark from 1958 through 1960): 1967 through 1986: 1987: This one used screens of the Gold (to create the Light Yellow) and of the Black (to create the Gray), and even used a custom color to make the darker Gold used in the outer "rule". 1988 through 1996: 1997 through 2013: 2014 through present: Those 1987 and 1988-1996 marks are interesting...the MLB will state that the second version ('88-'96) was the only one used; I have a 1987 Style Guide sheet that not only shows it exactly as is presented above, but even includes a highly detailed description as to how it is built - with the screens and custom color, and all.
  7. I took this pic when I was at the first game at then-named Cardinals Stadium back in August, 2006: I'm pretty sure Roger Wehrli and Aeneas Williams are also up there by now.
  8. This is what they deem official from 1946-1980: In 1968, this one became an alternate primary mark, and then became the official primary in 1981:
  9. I'll throw out the official Tigers' primary marks while I'm at it. These are the only ones that have been deemed as official primaries: 1957-1960: 1961-1963: 1964-1993: 1994-2005: 2006-present: Remember, I didn't create these. Thank the MLB. I'm just adjusting the colors for RGB.
  10. Here's the 1960-1971 Tigers' road uniform script:
  11. Remind me - is that the 1960-1971 road uniform script?
  12. Yep...them and the 1901-1902 Orioles. Didn't do those. Everything else yes. (Except for the scattered trademark issues.)
  13. The MLB did NOT recreate them for some reason...
  14. I've had a really busy couple of weeks with client-related stuff, so haven't had much time do work on all of this. The Cardinals' uniform scripts are done; still putting together the cap marks. (There's a few of the earlier cap marks I don't have however; trademark issues.) However, thought I'd quickly post the 1987-1990 White Sox scripts and cap marks while I had a couple minutes:
  15. Don't really have very many (if any at all). I'll check, but don't get your hopes up.
  16. Really?? That's good to hear. How long ago did that happen? Have they fixed the NY Giants stuff too? They pretty much fixed everything that was wrong for every team. Back to 1900. Recreated every uniform script, cap mark and sleeve patch. Anything I don't have now, is due to trademark issues...if the MLB couldn't secure a trademark for it (older logos and scripts usually), it was not included. I'll be posting as much as I can on my own site in the near future - I'm in the middle of rebuilding my site right now...should be up in a week or so.
  17. The MLB fixed all of those Brooklyn cap marks...will post soon.
  18. No it was just that I was going to ask you if you could modify a logo for me (changing the colors), that's why I wanted to know if it was easy, so it wouldn't be a bother to ask. I sure could - however, I might get scolded by Cokeologist if I don't post the Cardinals' uniform scripts first...!
  19. Adding updated versions of the Charlotte Hornets's home and road uniform scripts, along with the alternate uniform script:
  20. The Vancouver Grizzlies' Road uniform script - 1995-1996 through 1998-1999: The official home script, for what it's worth:
  21. Not sure...I'll have to look into it. The newest Cooperstown Collection historical set is correct.
  22. It's correct in the newer files... I personally messed up the BP graphic.
