  1. Fun fact: the Charlotte Bobcats used "NFL Pacific Blue" as the textile match for their original uniforms.
  2. They officially called it "Seahawks Blue", but the textile match was called (by Reebok) "NFL Pacific Blue".
  3. Two different colors. Process Blue is a Pantone base ink color, while Process Cyan is a primary color in CMYK printing:
  4. They guy who runs that site admitted to me that he's an expert in SEO. Something (one of the many things) I really need to get better at.
  5. Team Color Codes should never be considered a "source of truth".
  6. Here's one I threw together today...the Cincinnati Bengals' primary mark from 1968-1969:
  7. Don't know if this has been mentioned, but I have been helping Chris with a number of official graphics for a little while now. I gave Chris access to my entire raster library (created from official vector logos and color-adjusted to PANTONE Digital Specs). He can browse through the entire thing and update when he has time. I have a LOT to share; not a ton of time to do it though!
  8. My parents and brother all live in Traverse City...just sent a link to the story to my mom, who had no idea about the unveiling. And...even works at the State Theater where these were unveiled. Apparently, she had yesterday off.
  9. My parents and my brother all live in Traverse City...something with cherries is appropriate, along with anything related to lakes. (Lots of water and boats there.)
  10. I love that uniform. Not really sure why. The dark jersey, along with the Raiders, is about as basic as it gets but I really, really loved that uniform. Actually, I thought they kept taking steps backwards on the white jersey and my love of it was over when they added the state flag. I really liked the below set (though by now the sleeves on the white would obviously need to have changed) Coming to this part of this discussion late, but wanted to say one thing about those White jerseys... The "Northwestern"-style striping that was present on the White jerseys of that era, is duplicated in University of Phoenix Stadium behind the north-end scoreboard. The smaller scoreboard, on the closed end of the stadium (opposite the end where the field slides in). I took a tour of the stadium a couple of years ago, and they were walking us all over to the lofts (suites) on that end of the stadium, and that exact pattern of Black-White-Red-White-Black-White-Red-White-Black was painted from floor to ceiling along that entire wall. It took me aback, and we were moving so quickly through there, I wasn't able to take a picture of it. Really regret not doing that. I thought it was a great touch.
  11. I should mention...I dumped my Photobucket account last week...there will be hundreds of broken images now in my past posts.
  12. I just received all of the 2015 MiLB All-Star Game logos this morning...am planning a post of them on my site tomorrow or early next week.
  13. I put this out on Twitter last night, but I want: Hartford Prefects (Mostly Harmless.)
  14. Those are pretty much exactly what I've been wanting the Tampa Bay Rays to change to...change the Navy to Black...make the color scheme a bit more appropriate (embracing both the Devil/Manta Ray imagery and the sun glint-thing).
  15. FWIW, I have been hard at work these last couple of weeks getting my new site put together...I will eventually be presenting sRGB-optimized graphics there (exclusively on my site, to be honest), as well as housing all of my team colors and college colors & nicknames information. I should have the site up in a few days at the most.
  16. Doesn't look like I have that wordmark unfortunately.
  17. I've got that one as well...will post as soon as I get these Photobucket issues worked out...don't know what's going on - I submitted a support ticket to Photobucket to resolve.
  18. I can upload those logos if you can send me them. Are they in graphics standard manual?....logosheet?.. or just individual files? Doesn' make a difference, I'm just curious. Just PM me the files and I' ll be happy to upload them to the 'Mothership'. I posted them earlier, but something is going on with Photobucket.
  19. I'll see what I can find... Some American U. marks: Primary Marks: Secondary Marks:
  20. I've been REALLY busy lately, getting all 11,000+ color palettes regenerated...took a minute to get these done: Don't believe I have that one...
  21. What I found interesting within an article about the switch to "ThunderHeads" was a claim that the fans didn't care for the Sox's previous color scheme of Brown and Gold. *cough*Padres*cough*
