  1. They needed actual silver helmets, rather than this demured grey baloney. So dull.
  2. ESPN has like five different score bugs depending on what they're doing as far as intro, halftime and during the game. It's also annoying that they keep showing off different parts of the overall new intro, solely for the sake of showing all of the new graphics.
  3. They probably got the go ahead and then the NCAA realized the gold wasn't as dark as it needed to be. Seeing as Bethune Cookman and other FCS teams have gotten away with numbers that are the same color as the jersey with a wide outline as their attempt top make them readable.
  4. I guess that's why the majority of EPL teams voted down using 5 subs this year. It obviously had a role in Manchester United doing so well at the restart. If it carried over I think you would have seen better results for Man United, City and Arsenal. I also wonder if Liverpool's issues yesterday could be fatigue or illness. I think that's part of the issues for Manchester United, in addition to some dumb personal decisions by players and personnel issues by Woodward and Judge. https://www.espn.com/soccer/arsenal/story/4200873/arsenal-axe-gunnersaurus-in-bid-to-save-money-amid-pandemic Arsenal have sacked their mascot due to profit loss https://www.espn.com/soccer/barcelona/story/4201006/barcelona-announce-total-debt-has-doubled-to-488m-amid-coronavirus-pandemic Barcelona have been losing money big time but still couldn't be talked into selling Messi to City.
  5. I liked the white versions better, but yup Miami did it first.
  6. At least United was down a man. Was there sort of lunar event no one's talking about? Maguire set up the first Spurs goal by tackling his own man after making the softest header back to DeGea. Maybe should have sent him on loan instead of . . . Just send him on loan anyways. Maybe to Greece.
  7. Their best logo isn't even on the helmet, it's on the back of the jersey.
  8. Unless PSG all party the night before both group games I can't see United beating them twice, which is what they may need to do to make 2nd in that group.
  9. At least they decided on keeping school colors instead of trying to cosplay as Navy.
  10. True, but apparently they feared it'd impact 2021 XFL football, hence the move to 2022.
  11. I think the biggest issue was getting the games on TV if ABC/ESPN and Fox are trying to grab up college football to fill in weekends this spring. They also may not want people trying to compare XFL to NCAA games, especially if it's FCS and below. They may also still want to keep teams that were scheduled to move in the same areas, but in smaller stadiums or obtaining better rental plans for those that were already in small stadiums.
  12. That would be a neat thing to do as a jersey patch for Senior Day, since their "family history" would be completed at that time.
  13. I'm thinking these won't actually be on the uniform, but will be somewhere in the facilities.
  14. no. It bothers me that they don't have the primary logo on both sides of the helmet.
  15. I'd imagine if the programs didn't want to do things like this they would say no. In the case of Louisville, the city, Ali has gotten a lot of love since his issues with Parkinson's and after his death. For Pittsburgh, the steel workers have been, for lack of a better word, fetishized for years by every team that plays in Pittsburgh, not just the Steelers.
  16. Why can't they honor part of the city's history? Should Louisville not have honored Muhammad Ali with their unis last year? https://www.uniswag.com/blog/louisville-muhammad-ali-uniform https://www.uniswag.com/blog/pitt-football-steel-uniform
  17. UCF has released their player's personal crests.
  18. Since the idea is that they're coming off the work floor of a steel mill it makes sense for how it's designed.
  19. The A&M numbers look half done without the interior serifs. They should've gone with standard block numbers or found a way to thin them down.
  20. The fact that they didn't have stripes took away from the pants. I wonder if they had ordered matching pants that didn't arrive and decided to go without stripes instead of wearing navy and red. I know Mississippi's thing is using one color and white, but they should have mixed in red or navy blue in the striping patterns so they can use these with the navy helmets as well.
  21. Did anyone else flashback to Texas A&M giving Eric Dickerson a car and getting mad because they couldn't admit it when he jumped to SMU? Hahahaha!!!!
  22. Feels like they didn't put them next to their regular pants until yesterday and didn't realize they needed a powder blue stripe so they went with practice pants.
  23. Manchester United struggle to win 3-2 due to a penalty called after the final whistle and people now know that a penalty that occurred during play can be taken after the final whistle blows. As expected, there are people are saying that the correct call being made shouldn't occur because the final whistle was blown. https://twitter.com/SnapGoal/status/1309847718442000394?s=20
