  1. adidas has been known to be pretty lazy with most of their college replicas until the last 2-3 years. These look better than the replicas from the AAF, which had a seam running across the top of the shoulders rather than one solid shoulder/yoke, no shoulder numbers and had logos on the sleeves that weren't on the actual jerseys.
  2. Looking at some of these I can see ways to fix them pretty easily. Houston - Lose the side panels and place the wildcatter logo on the sleeves instead of the stars. Use a blockier font number. LA Wildcats. Take that part of the pants stripe that min=mics claw marks and place it on the sleeve caps. Drop the side panels. Seattle - swap blue and green around. Add some type of scales on the sleeves. Fix the helmet logo, go with a different color helmet. DC - swap pants around. Dallas - Swap jersey and yoke colors on the home jerseys. Recolor numbers as well. Tampa Bay - Swap pants, lose side panels. St. Louis - change number font. New York - Swap pants.
  3. Hmmmm, If you broke up those bolts it would stand out bright as day so i think you're on to something.
  4. I have the Kevin Durant model for Nike and a few things I've picked up along the way. Shoot me a PM and I'll try tracking those down.
  5. I still find it annoying that ESPN actually owns bowl games. Granted the Gator Bowl was originally created to give Florida a bowl to go to.
  6. Isn't that the going rate for authentic footballs nowadays? I know Big Game footballs are over $100. https://www.biggameusa.com/
  7. The same on the phone and the desktop. Not every time, but they do seem to pop up when logging in after a few hours.
  8. That cut could be the new adidas Primeknit A1, or the Nike Vapor series. Without being able to see any seams or stitching, it's hard to tell. The number reminds me somewhat of the square adidas numbers though.
  9. Unless you plan on having the players there, it's not necessary.
  10. Not sure if I trust this since it's not one of the better known adidas templates. In fact it reminds me of my Hopco jerseys.
  11. They had them on the league site, Dicks and at the games. If the XFL is like XFL 1.0 they'll be ready for January.
  12. I like these. They line up a lot with most of the designs I've seen used during my time in. Are you going to Knox, Sill or Benning? Good luck, by the way. There's going to be a lot of things you think are easy and think are hard and they aren't, it's all mental.
  13. Shhoot me an email. I should have most of Doug's stuff saved.
  14. Different face and flames. You can say Seattle's logo is inspired by UAB but it's not a copy. I think you'd need to have a full body dragon to do a proper S.
  15. Possibly right after mini-camp would be perfect timing.
  16. If that was the sleeve logo and the paw was the helmet logo I could see that working. I think we'll see the opposite though. When the XFL was showing off the Generals logos I was hoping that meant that any new logos would be held to the same standard. In my opinion that didn't happen. They didn't need to take Dane's previous logos and re-purpose them, but they should have been able to get something better than what was revealed for most of the teams. The AAF logos were better, in my opinion, but I'm more worried about good football that can stay on the field for more than one season than I am what the logos look like. I feel like San Antonio proved that minor league football can still work if it's marketed properly. And if everyone else is getting a secondary and probably tertiary logos, we may see some items that make for better helmet logos than the original logos that came out on release day.
  17. They also advertised locally much better than most of the AAF teams did.
  18. I think this could happen if someone like Under Armour, Starter or Champion made the uniforms. If it's adidas or Nike I think they'll have a brick pattern on the yokes or numbers and the helmet and that's it.
  19. I made a Squadlocker account so people that want to order jackets, t-shirts and sweaters and such for our soccer team can order what they need. I feel like at a minimum there exists something out there that does a similar job for them and doesn't rely on enough people ordering the items for sale.
  20. If the minority owner was fully in charge and the funds, they'll probably be welcomed back. I don't think he has the money though. Tampa Bay's existence shouldn't be tied to Orlando's but I think having their closest rival be in Columbus, GA wouldn't be as well embraced as playing that team just up the road.
  21. If McIntyre had any good will in the community I hope it's all gone now. That's just disgusting.
