I have explained before that the soccer unis are a promotional item for each team. On the logo I didn't use a gradient I just colored each stripe different. I used the colors of the two classes to make it look 3d. The logo text represents northern California's most dominant teams (don't argue with me on that here) the 49ers@Giants. Im double tasking with a project for a local sports bar plus the poster and Rest of the teams for this one.

It makes it still look like a gradient. Still, it looks nothing like a racing logo as well. Over all, this series is not looking good at all. There's gradients all over the place, mismatching colors, only one view of the car, and so on. This is leading to an absolute trainwreck. You also don't need to every little post, if you do, reply in one big post. You've posted 870 something posts of terrible feedback and countless unnecessary posts. This is getting real annoying.

It's not feedback he's giving. It's mostly "omg that's awesome, can I request (insert team here)?"

I'm getting really confused. I don't know the direction you are going with this. You are doing things on cars but there are soccer jerseys and now you are talking about football - I'm assuming it's also in football stadiums? I can't remember. I just don't understand what you are doing.

Almost all of your designs have this gradient junk or some messy awkward lines. The designs usually look like they were done in 10 minutes and they don't look like racing logos should.

There has been a lot of feedback here - on top of stupid ones - but it doesn't seem to show much progress anywhere. If I was to be nice, I guess the cars were better than before but still not enough and a side view would have been a better and easier option.

I don't know what more to say. For some people it comes easy, others find it difficult. I'd like to say keep designing and practicing and it will get better but sometimes that's not the case - I'll be optimistic anyways. I don't know if it's a busy schedule or whatnot but typically if someone was to take the C&C and build on it, in a week there would have been some progress. This thread has been around since February? - I'm on my phone - but the progress is minimal at best and the updates are few and far between so those trying to help may get frustrated.

I agree with this and what's been said. Realistically, is anyone going to buy a soccer jersey to support a racing team? The cars aren't bad, but the new logo is honestly not so good. The 2 Adidas logos looks pretty bad, and it would look better with just one color.

the more I look at the logo the more I agree. The reason I included the soccer unis is its only one of each of the teams' promotional items (seeing as Adidas is the sponsor) so this way fans can have merchandise form each team not just a General series jersey or what have you. I will admit that the cars are not at all good. The corvette looks like a vw bug the nissan looks like a really old pinto and the Acura looks like a wrecked 97 Pontiac grand prix. Also based on my side view attempts from the beginning of the thread as well as my north American Touring car thread it is not im the cards at all. You did however give me an Idea to do somewhat of a sideview ordeal in some shape or form. (BTW acura's car in the Pirelli World Challenge has a gradient so I had to incorporate it in to them) im still learning and working on the kinks (ecspect a track overhaul) and yes ideas for non factory teams and support categories are appreciated.

Now on the logo.... you've heard what we think about it. Now accept that color-changing logos, or whatever you call them are going to be considered as gradients. The triple Adidas logo is almost as bad as the whole logo itself, and the colors in "dominant" California teams (both from you hometown, oddly enough ) just completely throws it off, and to top it off, you've done the logo-in-logo thing that ruins any logo.

But the biggest problems are how little progress you've made in this thread and how little C&C your willing to accept. This is annoying, quite honestly.

On the promotional items. Point taken. On the gradient issue Some of the teams have them because of sponsors or manufacturer preferences. The logo is going to be reviewed and changed as well. What im thinking of doing is a complete and utter overhaul and just start a take 2 thread. And for those asking I will still have your team requests in the docket

No more "take 2" threads please, this isn't twitter, there aren't trends in that manner. Just post here and when you have started the overhaul, rename the thread but don't put take 2 because it's not a take 2 as you haven't finished the first one. Get all your stuff together and post when you are comfortable.
