Maybe Garden Grove will get some grifter mayor who has a buddy with a construction firm. Will the MLB allow its second largest TV market to be devoid of two teams? Sure, the Bay Area will be all Giants now, but Los Angeles is bigger.
FiddySicks
Probably not, but California has lost a lot of it’s appetite for publicly funding these projects. And consider that the two most recent projects in LA (which were two of the most expensive sports facilities ever built in their respective sports) were privately financed, you would have to think that any :censored:ery the Angels pull is probably going to be met with the same response that San Diego gave the Chargers and Oakland/The Bay Area gave the A’s. Arte may have the cash for that, but has he shown any indication of that? If he can find an investor in, like, I dunno, Branson who has the cash, don’t be surprised if he tries to follow.
