VikWings
4 hours ago, OnWis97 said: To lazy for photos, but here's some I can think of off the top of my head for my pro teams. The first one is kinda funny. Minnesota North Stars: Brian Lawton started at #98 and switched to 8. I think 98 was because he was the first overall pick and was going to be just a bit below Gretzky. Not sure if the switch was related to his being a bust... Vikings: Technically doesn't count, but Randy Moss wore #18 in preseason before switching to 84. Culpepper's change from 12 to 11 (mentioned above) Chris Kluwe changed from 5 to 4 to accommodate Donovan McNabb (and that very memorable era). Lots of guys once lower numbers were allowed, none that I can think of really worth mentioning). T-Wolves: Anthony Edwards switching from 5 to 1, as mentioned above. Twins: Justin Morneau came in with 27 and ended up wearing 33. Kent Hrbek came in with 26 and ended up wearing 14. Dalvin Cook from 33 to 4 in his final year with the team. M4One
Deebo Samuel 19 to 1. Wide receivers couldn't wear single digits when he entered the league, but that has since changed. And, added Sr. to his name.

Discrim
Longtime Bucks cult hero Ersan Ilyasova primarily wore 7, and I'll be double dipping into right team/wrong uniform twice as we recall him in green/red....but he wore #23 in the preseason of the Bucks' last season in purple (though he'd spend the season in the D League) then, he made his actual NBA debut in #19 before going to Spain for a few years... ...after returning from Europe, Ghostface Ilya claimed #7 ...and when he later returned to Milwaukee after being traded a few times, Thon Maker was wearing 7, so Ersan wore 77 for a season, reverting to 7 the next season after Maker was himself traded.
