If Canseco is full of it, and they truly have nothing to hide, why not sue him for libel? It probably isn't as simple as that, but what better way to vindicate yourself and your reputation than in a court of law?

Sounds good to me -- where's the lawsuits?

The way Conseco is doing it is scum, but it is probably true. This past summer I saw a picture of Mcgwire in baseball weekly of him in St. Louis the previous week. He looked like a rail. I do belive he was on more than andro and I was a fan of his.

Ummm, McGwire's been out of the game for 3 or 4 years now. If you were a heavy lifter and stopped lifting completly, you'd lose most of your girth in about a year.

You lose about 40% of what you've gained over 3 months, in a month. Example, if you are lifting heavy for HS football all summer long, and you stop once the season starts, in about a month you'll lose almost half of the strength you've gained.

I've said it before, and if I'm proved wrong so be it. But mark McGwire was one of the most flexible baseball players when he played. People on steroids are not flexible. That and he quit using a perfectly legal suppliment for the sole reason of the influence he had over young ball players. Just doesn't seem like the actions of a steroids user.

PLUS, if he was on steroids and andro, he'd basically be getting a double dose of testosterone. Andro is a supliment that gives you the molecules that make testosterone. If you take Andro incorrectly, you can have similar side effects as Steroids. If he was taking both, you would have known it.

completely true, and it dosent realisticaly take that long to pack on a ton of muscle. they say "well look how skinny bonds was at the beginning of his career compared to now, he must be on the juice." the thing people dont realize is that was 10 to 12 years ago. you could definately pack on that kind of muscle in a decade. and about the high school football thing, i realized that things like my bench max went down a good 60 pounds from the time the season started to the time playoffs rolled arounf this last season. you pack it on in the beginning to block woith strength and less technique, where as the season progresses and your technique gets better, you dont really need that strength as much

Didn't Bonds admit to using something that turned out to be steroids?

its a fairly strange incident. i talked to Nick Swisher about the issue and he said, the stuff bonds supposidly took is something baseball players use every day for joint relief. but they rub it on their arms and stuff like that, but, from what Nick said is that if its ingested, it is basically a steroid. the name of the stuff escapes me, but from what he said, its very common and legal if used properly
