It seems they did. On my monitor it looked gray the first time I saw that, and I knew that they went to powder blues when they ditched the white script on the jerseys in '70 for the red script. Upon further review, I guess that is powder blue in the mid-'60s. Nice find.

The Cubs wore powder blue road uniforms in the early 40s.

I don't believe the Padres wore gray their first season either, they look almost sandy...somewhere in between a gray and what they wear now

I've decided to give up hope for all sports teams I follow
