I bought a very cool Reds letterman-style jacket twelve years ago that I still have. i had a killer Reds varsity jacket. red wool, white leather sleeves, a huge chenille C-Reds on the back. Saw Chris Sabo wear one on Fountain Sq downtown Cincinnati in Oct 90 and took me 3 yrs to save up! Yep, that's the kind that I have, too. Great jacket. Braden Posted October 20, 2005 Share Posted October 20, 2005 I don't think these jackets will look any decent for teams like the Blue Jays and Devil Rays with modern logos.The letterman jackets look AMAZING, but only on teams where the colours match the cream colour they use for the sleeves. Reminds me of the University of Wisconsin letter jackets - since the 1950s at least, the letter jackets have been Cardinal with Natural leather sleeves and pocket trim and a White block W.
