spyboy1
The following was printed in the Minneapolis StarTribune today;"According to a survey of 1,149 randomly selected Americans conducted by Directions Research Inc., here are the five best and the five worst NFL jerseys:Best:1. Dallas Cowboys2. New England Patirots3. Pittsburgh Steelers4. Miami Dolphins5. Minnesota VikingsWorst:1. Cleveland Browns2. Cincinnati Bengals3. Green Bay Packers4. Baltimore Ravens5. Miami Dolphins"Now, I may not like the Packers personally, but, in a world populated by the Tennesse Titians, how can the Packers jerseys be one of the worst? How is it that much different from Dallas & Minnesota?Discuss amongst yourselves, I'm feeling verklempt.JeffB Click here to read Third String Goalie - The Hockey Jersey of the Day Blog Click here to see my hockey and baseball jersey collection online ?You don?t like to see 20 kids punching 20 other kids. Phil
Judging by the names on the top of that list, and the fact that it was 1,149 randomly selected Americans, that simple name/uniforn recognition may well have played a larger role than actual design merit....and could it be that the loved/hated Denver Broncos uniform, which for many years would have found itself in both the top 5 and bottom 5, has become conservative enough (by comparison) to keep itself out of both lists?...and how is it that the Cincinnati Bengals are the only "new style" uniform in either list? No Atlanta, no Buffalo, no Seattle, no Arizona... uniforms you'd expect to evoke some kind of response with their non-traditional stylings.I am seriously questioning the quality of this research. Did MIT's biology department have anything to do with it?

DGivens87
I'll take it another step further - which current uni combos are the best? Worst? Here's my top 5 for each-Best1. Packers green jerseys, yellow pants - doesn't get much more classic.2. Cowboys navy jerseys, silver pants - just looks sharp, IMO.3. Patriots navy jerseys, silver pants - same as a above.4. Bears navy jerseys, white pants - another classic look.5. Chiefs white jerseys, red pants - just a great look.Worst1. Bills navy jerseys, navy pants - who dresses them? Stevie Wonder?2. Seahawks blue jerseys, blue pants - just ugh.3. Chargers white jerseys, blue pants - somethin about it just screams cheesy 80s uni combo to me.4. Giants white jersey, gray pants - the jersey itself is sweet alone, but just doesn't match the rest of the uni.5. Ravens black jerseys, black pants - gotta HATE on the all black and leotard look all wrapped up in one ugly jersey combo. What I'd like to see return:1. Colts white jersey, blue pants (Harbaugh era) - I don't care what anyone says, I liked this combo ALOT.2. Vikings white jersey, purple pants - this has the potential to be really screwed up, but if done right, I think it'd look sharp.3. Bears white jersey, navy pants - I know they broke this out this year, but I like the look, and they should go with it more often.4. Ravens white jersey, black pants - I liked this look alot.5. 49ers white jersey, white pants - yeah, I know I'm in the minority on this one, but I though it looked sharp during the 1994 season. A large cheese pizza, just for me.New England's source for soccer newsAnd hey, I made it to ESPN!

Yea, like we never discuss the same topics here over and over every two weeks. All I know is it ran in my paper today, so it's as current as can be.
