Rumors floating around after the first day of owners meetings are that the NFL is seriously going to try and keep the Saints in New Orleans if at all possible. Also the Chargers, Jags and Vikings are on the list for LA. Even though the Vikings have a tenative agreement with Anoka County for a stadium they have not been able to get the money needed for infrastructure approved by the state of Minn.

This poll really lacks choices, Chiefster2000. What are you thinking putting up the Jaguars and NOT the Cardinals? A few statistics for you-

Jacksonville: 65,621 avg attendance

Arizona: 41,748

Jacksonville population: roughly 780,000

Phoenix: roughly 1,400,000

So, therefore I conclude that the fans in Arizona are completley lame, and no longer deserve an NFL Team.

Jacksonville, on the other hand has a great team and the fans support the team, so they deserve a team for at LEAST the next 5 years.

My pick is the Vikings. We really don't like the idea of public money going to pro sports teams, and I couldn't agree more with that line of thought. (The Gophers stadium, which is going towards an entity the taxpayers have to pay for anyways, is a completely different matter) I'd rather see the Gophers get back on campus and the Twins get a ballpark than the Vikings getting their stadium, in that order.

(Then again, the tax money issue doesn't concern me anymore, because at the end of the week I won't be living in Minnesota anymore. ^_^)

From all indications the Chargers are still the frontrunners for LA. I'm starting to think the Saints are safe for now. The Jags would be the next closest to going especially if two openings are available for LA(Anaheim). The Vikings are probably third on the list because the new owner is really trying to work things out with the state. He will only leave if the state completely blows them off.

Homer: "Now we just have to sit back and wait for an NFL franchise..."

Man in suit: "Hello, I represent the Arizona Card--"

Homer: "Keep walkin, pal."
