officeglenn
Apparently Pokey Reese left Marlins camp to deal with personal issues a few days ago, didn't tell the team what was going on, and now has had his contract terminated: TSN.ca Strange. I have to wonder exactly what is going on that Reese would do this.
Audiodrama
That's really odd. When Pokey was with the Red Sox back in 2004, I didn't see any type of unusual behavior from him like this at all. His situation must be pretty serious/pressing to leave without notification for so long.

Mabe they just came to a head after all this time. Back-to-BackΒ Fatal FortyΒ Champion 2015 & 2016

CaolinaJoe
sounds like rehab or a Barret Robbins kinda deal. "It is the soldier, not the reporter, who has given us freedom of thepress. It is the soldier, not the poet, who has given us freedom ofspeech. It is the soldier, not the campus organizer, who has given usthe freedom to demonstrate. And it is the soldier who salutes theflag, serves beneath the flag, whose coffin is draped by the flag, andwho allows the protester to burn the flag."Marine Chaplain Dennis Edward O' Brien

I'm not saying it isn't possible, but I have no idea he could've put that behind him and been so successful since then for it to all fall apart now. I couldn't handle that now, let alone my first year out of high school, when you're still really an adolescent. "Start spreading the news... They're leavin' today... Won't get to be a part of it... In old New York..."In order for the Mets' run of 12 losses in 17 games to mean something, the Phillies still had to win 13 of 17.
