Gary
I was at that game, I was one of the press for the game, I had chills going down my back when the game ended. One of true moments you will never forget.
rmered
Aussie Rules:1984 Grand Final. Merv Neagle kicked a 50m goal with a few minutes left to mean we could not be beaten. NFL.Adam Vinatieri kicks a FG against St Louis to win the Super Bowl, after St Louis looked like they were going to win, and then Brady drove 40-50 yards to get Vinatieri in range. Oh, and I've got a site.Footy Jumpers Dot Com

winghaz
"DO YOU BELIEVE IN MIRACLES? YES!" No question about it. That's my all-time favorite.I'm still amazed, every time I think back on it. And remembering the friend who told me, "We beat the Russians," and I said, "You're sh--ing me." Etc., etc., etc. (These memories were posted before.)And then seeing the photos of the game afterward in Sports Illustrated ... WOW! I still get tingles up my spine. The Twins winning the World Series couldn't match that. Even if the Vikings were to ever win the Super Bowl, that would never match the Miracle on Ice. I don't think anything ever could.
