nsentv
What's your single favorite sports moment? It can't be a tie, and I'm not really looking for a game. Just the one play that you remember the most. For me, it's Michael Jordan's shot over Byron Russell in Game 6 of the 1998 Finals.
STL FANATIC
There are so many, but I'm just gonna give you the one that stands out the most to me right now. That's Albert Pujols blast off of Brad Lidgel last year in Game 5 of the NLCS in Houston to keep the Cards alive (even if not for long). I hadn't given up (I rarely do), but I was prepared to be not prepared to lose (in other words...go crazy upset/sad/angry...a whole combo). When the Cards got 2 on and then Albert hit that homer, I went nuts. I was 17 (I'm not a big guy, but still 17...) and I just absolutley gave my dad a leaping hug into his arms. I about knocked him backwards through a big window, lol. It was great. JUSTIN STRIEBEL | PORTFOLIO | RESUME | CONTACT
andrewharrington
Watching the winning base hit, then watching Craig Counsell score the winning run in game 7 of the 1997 World Series. I was crushed. Pat
http://cardsownvader.ytmnd.com/It would be SB XXXI but I barely remember that. This was the greatest I ever felt watching sports. I always make a sheet with the playoff teams of the year, and I already accepted defeat and wrote in the Vikings as the NFC playoff team, not Green Bay. Then I got word of the Cardinals scoring. Then the onside kick and recovery, then the last second Nate Poole TD. I'd never felt so excited, overwhelmed, surprised, and genuinely happy. I was running and screaming in excitement, I couldnt contain myself. Proud owner of the Utah Pioneers of the Continnental Baseball League.PACKER BACKER FOREVER! BCBoy
As a Canucks fan, I don't have many, but when Matt Cooke scored with 5 seconds left in game 7 of the playoffs vs Calgary, that has to be one of my favourite moments ever. Quite funny actually, some guy threw some debris on the ice and while ref was picking it up, Morrison hacks the stick out of Iginla's hand (which is a penalty) and the result is that he falls down and gives Naslund enough space to get to the net to create the Cooke goal. Eye
There's so many so I'll just pick one for hockey and baseball.Hockey- I was sad when the Devils lost to the Rangers in '94, but Matteau's goal is something I'll never forget.Baseball- Renteria's hit off of Nagy's glove in game 7 of the '97 World Series. Again, I was sad.
