Pardon the double-post, but the Jays won their final game vs. the Yanks 7-5.

Which means their record is 87-75; the best since 1998.

And the winning pitcher: Mr. Towers.

See you guys next season.

And on Wednesday, hockey begins. Perfect timing.

And since 1993 they been in 2nd place. Even thought we didnt make it into the play offs, finishing in 2nd place was a big achivement. Just think what next year holds.

The fact is that so many things went wrong this season.

Josh Towers stinking it up.

Russ Adams hitting and defensive troubles.

A.J. Burnett's injury.

Gustavo Chacin's injury.

The Shea Hillenbrand incident.

The Ted Lilly incident.

Trading Hinske and Schoenweis.

I think it's a major accomplishment to come in 2nd in the East.

It's a damn shame the Toronto sports media are such pessimists. I think that's what's holding the Blue Jays back from bigger audiences.

WE'RE NUMBER 2!!!!! WOOT!

Congrats to the Jays for a wonderfully entertaining season. I can't wait until next year when we will hopefully have an even stronger squad out on the field and hope this second place finish counts for the post season in upcoming years, or hopefully we can improve to 1st...
