But they're unique, so ugly, that you grow to want one. That's how I feel, anyway. benpc21 Posted January 27, 2007 Share Posted January 27, 2007 I'm a little late on the reply here, but I had to go to public skate today to skate with a sorority for my team here at school (I say had, like they force me in there!) but I went into the pro shop of a rink I'd been to once before, and made my rounds. As I was walking toward the jersey rack, I saw the old LA Kings Chevy logo on a white shoulder, and thought it was weird, as I didn't remeber them having those patches on their white jerseys. So I took a look and was shocked to see the Burger King jersey sitting there. I checked the price tag and they were asking for $100 for it, which I was more than willing to drop, as I've wanted one for ever, only to flip the tag over and see it was 50% off. Its amazing, its as ugly jersey as you ever see, but beautiful at the same time. Not sure why it was just sitting in this proshop, they had a few old jerseys like the blue caps, and old black penguins, but other than that it was all current stock. So yeah, it doest really matter that I didnt get any phone numbers from the sorority chicks, I got the Burger King jersey...that will keep me happier in the long run! I still can't believe I own this.It truly is wonderful...the thing is so unique (i loved it when i discovered it on NHL Hitz a few years back...) the numbers are incredible...can i get a better look at the under arms?
