whitedawg22
Open question - who was the last 30+ year old running back who switched teams and had success?I just looked down the list of the top 50 all-time in rushing yards, and there isn't a single back that switched teams at or after age 30 and had a single 1000 yard season. The closest thing to success is Marcus Allen, who joined the Chiefs at age 33 and had a 764 yard, 12 TD season. oh ,my god ,i strong recommend you to have a visit on the website ,or if i'm the president ,i would have an barceque with the anthor of the articel . Pat
Ill miss Green but with the price he went for I dont blame Thompson for not resigning him. Its tim to build with a new feature back. Marshawn Lynch anyone?PS I now hope the Texans cut Gado and we bring him back in. Proud owner of the Utah Pioneers of the Continnental Baseball League.PACKER BACKER FOREVER! leedsunited
Sounds a bit past his prime. And he certainly didn't have the skill or power of a Corey Dillon (who probably coasted a lot in Cincinnati, saving some wear and tear).

How can you not have a soft spot for the guy?Um... because he attended the bastion of hate known as Liberty University?Yes, but Samkon seems genuinely likeable. Last off season, he lived in Green Bay and worked as an intern in a hospital. He's studying to be a doctor, and is a very humble, sincere person. He's wrong for our scheme, though It's where I sit. Sterling84
I don't know about that. Green was mighty powerful for a man his size. And I'd wager much faster in his prime than Dillon too.But your point is not lost. That was MANY miles ago and several serious injuries ago. Green is well past his prime.Sounds a bit past his prime. And he certainly didn't have the skill or power of a Corey Dillon (who probably coasted a lot in Cincinnati, saving some wear and tear).
