New Heat 3rd Alternate

Basically what I've done is center and enlarge the front number, changed Miami to the MIA abbreviation like the Phoenix alternates, and added a patch on the collar with the Heat logo. And, obviously, made it yellow! I would make the Heat's current red alternates the road uniforms, and replace the black with this one. Ever since they switched to the current style in 2000, I've never liked the black ones. C&C welcome.

EDIT: Changed the "MIA" to Miami and enlarged the patch. Also did similar versions of the other 2 uniforms.

Ditch the MIA and they're not bad. Even though the Hornets yellow unis are super bright, I think these would work. Good job.

Actually I think the 'MIA' (missing in action) would be appropriate for the Heat this season, however, yellow alts are becoming the new black alts, it seems, since they've disallowed anymore black alts. While I agree those reds should be the primary roads, I just don't think a yellow alt. is what they need. Simply switch the black and red uniforms with their respective designations, and that'd be sufficient enough.

Other than maybe shrinking down the number on the front, I commend you on your execution.

Like the others said, the jersey's are nie, just ditch the MIA and you've got a perfect jersey.

Interesting Baseball fact: In 1960: Baltimore, Milwaukee, Cincinnati, and Pittsburgh had 2 AAA affiliates, while Los Angeles had 3 teams...and the New York Yankees had the Kansas City Athletics.

Interesting Hockey fact: In 1974, the Buffalo Sabres draft Taro Tsujimoto of the Toyko Katanas with th 183 pick in the draft. It was later revealed that Taro didn't exist, but Taro is still listed as an offical draftee of the Buffalo Sabres in their Media Guide.

When I saw the yellow jersey with 'MIA', I immediately saw the inspiration: Phoenix's orange alternate with 'PHX' across the chest. I'll echo the ditch the 'MIA' trend, but, otherwise, solid concept.

Engine, Engine, Number Nine, on the New York transit line,

If my train goes off the track, pick it up! Pick it up! Pick it up!

Back on the scene, crispy and clean,

You can try, but then why, 'cause you can't intervene.

Or the Hawks' "ATL"

Did they have jerseys that said 'ATL' across the front? I know that they had a tramp stamp on their yellow alternate shorts that had it.

I thought the yellow ones might have, but I don't know. I know they have an official wordmark like that in the new logos.

Is it me or my computer or is that yellow coming across more as let's just say Tampa Bay Buccaneer creamsicle orange?

Mine too.
