TFoA
@ ESPN projecting the Hawks to do the exact same as they did last year.NVM the fact that they'll have a fully functional PG for a full year, a ridiculously young team that now has playoff experience, a deeper bench than the lightweights that they had last year, and Joe "I will pull up an inch in front of half-court, shoot a 3, and make it." Johnson. They've done nothing but improve, and they're only supposed to stay pat? Yeah right.

That's just what the Hawks do!I mean, sure, there's always that nagging feeling in the back of the mind. But eh, them resigning Josh Smith when they could've easily let him go like they did Chilldress allowed me to put a little bit of faith in their reversal of fortune. But idk, I just have a feeling that these Hawks are going to be better and actually be decent, instead of being the Lolhawks. Basically, I'm saying that I'm more confident that we'll see the Hawks that went toe to toe with the best team in the NBA, instead of the same team that got mollywocked in the champs' gym. ShinyHubCaps
I can't believe people even read the ESPN pre-season predictions. It's just like, "Hey, let's take last year's records, flip a few numbers around, and overhype any team that has made a significant addition." They didn't even do that last part this year; Clippers still miss the playoffs!
DarkJourney
Ellis did lie to the Warriors. Well here we go. There will be falling out and they will have to trade him. Once again the Warriors go back to being pure crap for the next 13 years. I've never seen a resurrection and then a fall of a team so fast. Starchild
Agent Zero out until December at the earliest ESPN.com articleThis is an awful sign - reminds me of Allan Houston. Guy signs a monstrous contract, has a bunch of knee operations, never the same. I hope that's not the case for Arenas, he's fantastic to watch and one of the top five scorers in the league when healthy. Looks like Caron Butler and Antawn Jamison will have to carry the load to begin with again.
