Ok, this is going to be a really tough event, so lets get this going fast.

First things first. I nomintate bruschi for PM.

I cant be PM because the deadline is on my first day of school.

The thing that I've noticed, is even in the smaller sizes, you can really fit a LOT of detail into these things.

Outside of that, though, I feel completely frigging STUMPED. The idea well feels completely and utterly dry.

I'm in seattle right now, but in the airport I have connection. I just want to say GREAT FREAKING job on the Ducks unis, I'm very impressed and thanked that I didn't get voted off cause you guys won. I'll be back in action from now on though. I'll see if I can come up with some ideas tonight when I get home.

This is why it's called a "challenge," gentlemen.

An example of a real-world situation: a 'client' wants something that forces you to stretch your thought processes. Good for the ol' brain box!

And it definitely is challenging....

So far, the only idea I have is to make the coin resemble the circle part of the Raleigh seal, (width of rings and inner circle, small circles separating top and bottom text, etc.) with different text, colors, and images inside of course. I am still not sure what to do for the inside. There isn't one certain sport we can focus on, and other than that, the only imagery I can think of is stuff associated with Raleigh.

I like some of the ones that have some parts in gold, and others parts in silver. Those look pretty nice sometimes.

Yeah, what I meant was like ones with blue and red and other "non-traditional" coin colors all over em.

I'm thinking with the size of the primary, that the one side will pretty much only be able to hold said logo. Maybe with something behind it, like this:

Now, for the other side... DP had mentioned using the city seal, but how about modifying the state seal?

The only problem with that is that here in North Carolina, "desecrating" the state seal or any part of it is a high-end misdemeanor. Don't ask me why.

The different sets of gold are to imply different heights on the coin... it would uniformly be one shade.

I dunno. I know this isn't any good, but maybe an idea fo what the ratio should be?

I've got nothing..... This one is tough. This is all I have as a start:

It is meant to resemble the overall shape of the city seal. It is still too plain, but it is a start anyways. That logo is really hard to work into anything, because it is so wide, but not very tall.

You say nothing, and I think it looks really, really good. I think, even though the tree in the seal is rough, this one could be cleaned up a little, but outside of that, it's a very solid side.

I'm not saying they have to be fully formed ideas, but it would be really :censored:ing nice if someone besides DP and myself participated, on ANY level. I understand this stumping you, but , give feedback. PRETEND you're a member of this team.
