Discrim
To kinda piggy-back off the no names on the back statement, I can't for the life of me remember what college I was watching last weekend, but they had their teams nickname on the back where the players name would go. It looked very high schoolish.Might have been Utah State. I know they have "Aggies" spelled out on the back--quite largely, too.I also know that FAMU did this same thing for a while, spelling out "Rattlers" on the nameplates.Yep, thanks. It was Aggies. Not a big fan of it.I recall Pacific Lutheran down in D3 did this several years back when they won the Stagg Bowl, all the players had LUTES on the back, not sure if they still do this. And one of my high school's regular opponents, Kenosha Bradford, used to have BRADFORD on the back of their jerseys, though they moved it to the front a few years ago, Oklahoma style. Coast2CoastAM2006
something else that hasn't been mentioned yet is faux-throwback uniforms. the cowboys come to mind. also when teams do attempt throwbacks, they overlook some glaring detail. most notably the baseball throwbacks. Spoilers!
