Viper
Another question is why the western time zone team that plays in 70 degree weather got the day game while the eastern time zone team that plays in a meat freezer with a mud field plays the night game?Television silly.Exactly. The Steelers have been in the 4:15 or primetime slot ALL YEAR, why stop now?I believe it rotates which conference gets the primetime slot each year. Last year the NFC championship was in primetime.Yeah, that's why they shifted the kickoff times back two hours for the championship games several years ago, so they could schedule either game for either time slot without having to worry about the local time. And while I was typing this, Troy Polamolu just wrapped up the game for the Steelers. It will be Pittsburgh vs. Arizona in Super Bowl XLIII.
Cujo
Why does Tomlin continue to call Run-Run-Pass-Punt on every flipping possession?! I think jkr called it perfectly. Tomilin gets conservative as hell when the weather is like it is.That was actually my quote, but all if forgiven since the Steelers have put this baby away and Super Bowl 43 will now be watchable! NJTank
Well don't tell Willis McGahee, he's dreaming he caught the game winning touchdown and floated all the way down the field, with his teammates lifting him on the shoulder and the refs playing a harp and the whole stadium cheering his name. He won't remember what actually happened, but to quote Tom Jackson, he got "JACKED UP" www.sportsecyclopedia.com For the best in sports history go to the Sports E-Cyclopedia at http://www.sportsecyclopedia.com
STL FANATIC
That wasn't a dirty hit, because I think dirty implies intent to injure, and that was not the case here. But is there not a penalty for helmet to helmet on a normal ball carrier vs a defensive player? Viper
Nice of them to keep playing lively rock music over the PA system while a player lies on the field with a serious head/neck injury.

He's lucky he didn't need to be carted off as well. On 8/1/2010 at 4:01 PM, winters in buffalo said: You manage to balance agitation with just enough salient points to keep things interesting. WJMorris3
Looks like congrats to the Steelers on presumably winning the Lombardi Trophy... let's face it, there's no way the Cardinals win in two weeks. Let's set the early line, now that we know it's the Steelers, at 30.

Not to mention was part of the coaching staff as well. So don't be blowing them out of the water just yet
