Los Angeles Dodgers - 2002 Dodger Stadium - 40th Anniversary logo:

How was the legibility of the red/light blue on the actual patch? On this graphic the colors seem to vibrate against each other due to lack of contrast.

I'm not sure. That Light Blue was a custom color - it's supposed to be the color that is prominent around Dodger Stadium.

Probably another example of why designers should preview their designs in RGB (as well as CMYK) in order to see how the colors will actually play off one another.

I'm pretty sure that the Brewers one is a modern logo created by MLB about ten years ago, not a vintage logo. Few of the Cooperstown Collection commemorative logos are actually from the time period in question.

Yeah - you're right. That one IS from a Cooperstown Collection file.

I'll refrain from using those in the future.

Here are two interesting ones...

Milwaukee Brewers - 1999 County Stadium Final Season Logo:

Milwaukee Brewers - 2000 County Stadium Final Homestand Logo:

The 1999 version was created one year too early - due to the delay in the opening of Miller Park.

Note the different "COUNTY STADIUM" typefaces, the inclusion of Black in the 1999 version, and the difference between the Navy Blues...
