Puckguy14
Not to toot my own horn, but one of my proudest projects became reality last night. As some of you know, I co designed San Jose State's Ice Hockey logo and designed their then third jersey. The response was so popular they went permanent with the logo and had a variation of the Buffaslug jerseys for new home and away. With the team's 20th Anniversary here along with hosting the 2011 ACHA Division II National Championship, an updated brand was put in place. Using PANTONE colors for better, accurate colors, fan and team responses, and the desire to clean things up, 2004 San Jose Sharks 7th Man Fan of the Year San Jose Gold Miners - 4x Lombardi Cup Champions

knnhrvy16
Awesome work, puckguy. I really love all of it, very sharp and clean. A+!! The opinions I express are mine, and mine only. If I am to express them, it is not to say you or anyone else is wrong, and certainly not to say that I am right.

Puckguy14
Now, where will I be able to buy that beauty of a jersey? You can go to sjsuhockey.net and can order there and pay through PayPal. $90 for the jersey, $125 with customization. It might add extra for shipping. Let me know when you get it. BTW, here they are in action. Note: the embroiderer didn't order enough for the outlines so for the first couple of games, they had white numerals. 2004 San Jose Sharks 7th Man Fan of the Year San Jose Gold Miners - 4x Lombardi Cup Champions

That San Jose sun was also a part of the NHL All-Star Game in 1997. 2004 San Jose Sharks 7th Man Fan of the Year San Jose Gold Miners - 4x Lombardi Cup Champions
Sodboy13
Interesting that they decided to go with the Sharks' numeral font. I would have figured they used the Minnesota Wild's road numeral font, since that's what you used for the anniversary logo. Also, those Fullerton jerseys just make me sad. Sabrejeff
I like the hidden Ses and Js... but why do they read J S and not S J? Or am I just reading too much in to them?
LetsGoOakland9
A version of your primary with maybe a spear instead of a hockey stick should be the primary logo for all SJSU sports. That is an awesome logo. It would easily be one of the best in college sports.

It was a way to pay homage to the pro team in town as well. That and it seemed to fit well with the jerseys. 2004 San Jose Sharks 7th Man Fan of the Year San Jose Gold Miners - 4x Lombardi Cup Champions
Puckguy14
Sabrejeff, I see what you're saying. Not intentional. It should be an "S" pattern all around, but I removed it to fit in San Jose State. 2004 San Jose Sharks 7th Man Fan of the Year San Jose Gold Miners - 4x Lombardi Cup Champions
