I see that the Rot-Weiss Essen helmet resembles that of a MacGregor Helmet Ohio State used in the early 60's ('60 to '65.) which had exterior padding on the top of the shell.

You, sir, are a scholar. I considered adding a padded "bump" to the top of the helmet But thought it might prove distracting to the lines.

These are awful, little to no thought seems to have gone into them, especially the 'striped' helmets, they really aren't executed well in terms or perspective. Also I don't think you'd be seeing full club logos on the helmets themselves, should try cutting them down to their basic but meaningful elements.
