Fantasy baseball.

I've always used and preferred using Yahoo...never had a single issue with any of their fantasy sports and I like the interface better than any other fantasy host.

Side note...I want to put together a fantasy baseball league on Yahoo if anyone is interested.

I'd no doubt be intersted in that, I love Yahoo especially for Football. But for baseball its pretty good.

I recomend ESPN live scoring for free. Yahoo charges.

True...that's probably the only thing I didn't like about it. I just hate having fantasy teams on two different hosting sites...I play a lot of fantasy soccer (EPL, La Liga, Serie A), so that's what started me on Yahoo.

Yeah, I never knew any of Yahoo's fantasy leagues charged their players for scoring. I'm probably going to be entering in a fantasy baseball league (for the first time ever) this year too, so I'm wondering if MLB.com like NFL.com has a user-friendly interface.

Plus, I'm thinking of naming my team the Phoenix Scorpions. Does Arizona Scorpions sound better, or can you guys think up any better nicknames overall?

I think Phoenix sounds a lot better than Arizona. IMO.

I would be if it's legit.

I'm in the process of creating one, but I'd want at least 10 teams, preferably 12...also here's kinda what I had in mind for positions and scoring (open to suggestions).

Points Only League

Positions

C, 1B, 2B, 3B, SS, OF, OF, OF, Util, SP, SP, SP, RP, RP, RP, P, P, BN, BN, BN, BN, DL, DL

Max Moves: 45 and Max Trades: 15

Point Values:

Batting

Singles = 1, Doubles = 2, Triples = 3, HR = 5, RBI = 1, Stolen Base = 2, Walk (BB) = .5, Strikeout (K) = -.5

Pitching

Win = 10, Complete game = 8, Shutout = 10, Save = 6, Walk (BB) = -.5, Strikeout (K) = 2, No Hitter = 25, Perfect Game = 25
