Jumped off the page at me simply because I had become so accustomed to the old favicon.Some applications are still using the old favicon though, such as Google Reader. JPDesign Posted August 15, 2012 Share Posted August 15, 2012 It's not strange, because that's not a new favicon for Facebook. Anyone that has it, has it unintentionally. Facebook is notorious for glitches because they always try to roll things out too quickly: just look at the iOS App. It's the worst user experience I've ever encountered on the iPhone.
