Before rebranding they wore a mishmash of equipment and stuff that happened to be red, save for that one guy's blue football helmet Side note: I'm glad the NHL Ducks never had to wear these.I'm also glad they never tried this, but the color scheme is pretty cool. I based a lot of my "knowledge" of the Vikings' uniform on that image, because I rarely got to see them on TV. In the mid-seventies, CBS had the NFC contract, and seemed to show nothing but the hated Cowboys... our local NBC channel in Columbus (the AFC, at the time) showed the Browns and/or the Bengals every week. The Vikings had dropped the gold number trim in the early 70's, and never had the reversed pants stripe that poster had... but when I was 7 or 8 years old that was the uniform I put them in whenever I drew them. http://dstewartpaint.blogspot.com/ Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
