I completed the sig but I wasn't able to use your logo....too small as you feared. What I was able to do however was recreate the logo on a larger scale. Now, what I created isn't exactly like the logo you provided but it's pretty close. The horse I used is a little different but I'd venture to say that my horse is more like a Mustang where the horse in the original logo is...well...just a horse. I went with the yellow background because it showed the logo much better but I can change it to black as the primary if you prefer.
